    • Randy Arozarena homers, plates four to lead Rays
Randy Arozarena homered and drove in four runs on Saturday, leading the Rays to a 7-2 victory over the Yankees in Tampa Bay.

Advice: The 29-year-old outfielder clobbered a 385-foot (102.5 mph EV) three-run shot off of Nestor Cortes in the third inning, giving the Rays a 4-2 lead that they would never relinquish. He also added a run-scoring double in the seventh inning and scored on a sacrifice fly by Isaac Paredes. The 29-year-old outfielder finished the afternoon 2-for-3 plus a walk, raising his season-slash to a still horrifying .154/.253/.329 to go along with seven homers, 17 RBI and six stolen bases. • Yandy Díaz clubs leadoff home run on Saturday
Yandy Díaz clubbed a leadoff home run on Saturday, helping to propel the Rays to victory over the Yankees.

Advice: Díaz jumped on the very first pitch that Nestor Cortes threw on Saturday, crushing a 401-foot (100.4 mph EV) solo shot over the wall in left-center. He also smacked an RBI double in the seventh inning and scored on a double off the bat of Randy Arozarena. Díaz finished the day 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three runs scored. On the season, he’s now slashing .250/.310/.340 with a pair of long balls and 18 RBI. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago

    • Anthony Volpe plates two runs in loss to Rays
Anthony Volpe went 3-for-4 and drove in both of the Yankees’ runs in Saturday’s loss to the Rays.

Advice: Volpe smacked a two-run single off of Zack Littell in the second inning that gave the Yankees a 2-1 advantage. That would wind up being the extent of their offensive output though. He also singled with two outs in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but the Yankees couldn’t cash him in. Volpe got his third knock off of Jason Adam in the seventh. With his three-hit attack, the 23-year-old shortstop is now hitting .268/.354/.408 with five homers, 20 RBI and eight stolen bases. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

    • Gunnar Henderson homer helps O’s top D-Backs
Gunnar Henderson homered in a victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday in 11 innings.

Advice: Henderson hit a solo blast of Ryne Nelson in the fifth inning. That’s the 12th homer for the second-year shortstop, and he’s driven in 27 runs over the Orioles’ first 37 games of the year. Henderson has played at a star level for much of 2024, and there’s plenty of reason to believe there’ll be way more good than bad for the infielder for the rest of the season and beyond. • Ketel Marte hits two-run homer vs. Orioles
Ketel Marte hit a two-run homer against the Orioles on Saturday in an extra-innings loss.

Advice: Marte hit a two-run homer off John Means in the third. That’s the ninth homer of the season for the 30-year-old veteran, and he’s plated 21 runs over the first six weeks of the season. Marte has slowed down slightly, but a .294/.345/.550 slash is nothing to sneeze at. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago

    • Jordan Westburg hits walk-off single in 11th
Jordan Westburg hit a walk-off single while going 4-for-5 to give the Orioles to a 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks in the 11th inning Saturday.

Advice: Westburg singled home Colton Cowser to give Baltimore the victory. The infielder added two more singles and a double while increasing his average to .301 with an .867 OPS. If fantasy managers haven’t already, it’s time to take Westburg seriously. He can really hit. Rotoworld 25 minutes ago

    • Injury believed to be minor
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Saturday that he's "not too concerned" about Nimmo's (intercostal) injury, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Advice: Nimmo tweaked his right intercostal on a checked swing Saturday against Atlanta and eventually exited the game. However, Mendoza said of the injury that "I think we caught it early," and as of no there are no plans to send him for an MRI. Nimmo will be reevaluated Sunday but is considered day-to-day for the time being. Rotowire.com 30 minutes ago

    • Rehab assignment Tuesday
Heyward (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Given that Andy Pages is hitting .300 with an .850 OPS while being a defensive positive in right field, Heyward may be coming back to a bench role, or the Dodgers could demote James Outman (-0.1 fWAR) to Triple-A to make room. Heyward will play in rehab games Tuesday and Wednesday before being evaluated. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago

    • Orlando Arcia hits two-run homer against Mets
Orlando Arcia hit a two-run homer in a victory over the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Arcia gave Atlanta a 2-0 lead with a two-run shot off an otherwise-effective Christian Scott in the third. The 29-year-old shortstop has homered four times in 2024 with 15 RBI. You can do worse from a middle-infield option. Rotoworld 45 minutes ago
