    • Gets aboard three times
Witt went 2-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Witt has three multi-hit efforts and four steals over six contests in May, batting .350 (7-for-20) for the month. While other members of the Royals' lineup have plateaued or cooled off altogether, Witt is still going strong from the No. 2 hole. He's slashing .319/.385/.542 with four home runs, 13 steals, 19 RBI and 33 runs scored over 37 games. Rotowire.com Today, 10:08 am
    • Getting Wednesday off
Chourio is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Chourio is hitting .357 with one stolen base over his first five games of May, but he's still slashing just .193/.233/.263 overall since April 16 and has seen his job security slip a bit as a result. The rookie will find himself on the bench Wednesday for the third time in seven games. Rotowire.com Today, 10:01 am
    • Retreats to bench Wednesday
Hoskins is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Hoskins will get the afternoon off in the series finale in Kansas City after he had started in each of the Brewers' previous eight games. Gary Sanchez will spell Hoskins at first base. Rotowire.com Today, 9:56 am
    • Homers in Tuesday's loss
Nootbaar went 1-for-2 with a solo homer, three walks and two runs scored in Tuesday's loss to the Mets.

Advice: Nootbaar supplied a late home run in the ninth off Adam Ottavino to bring the Cardinals within two runs. It was his first long ball since his season debut April 12. His eye at the plate was magnificent, as he drew three walks for the first time since Sept. 15 after having walked just twice since April 20 entering Tuesday's game. The 26-year-old has yet to find a groove at the dish thus far, slashing only .183/.295/.329 with eight extra-base hits, eight RBI, seven runs and a 13:17 BB:K in 96 plate appearances. • Goes deep again
Nimmo went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer and a walk in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Nimmo got the Mets going with a three-run blast off Miles Mikolas in the fifth to knot the game up at 3-3. He's now homered in back-to-back games and has at least a hit in six straight with seven RBI over that span. For the year, the 31-year-old is hitting .229/.377/.412 with five homers, 25 RBI, 20 runs and a 25:32 BB:K in 162 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 3:35 am
    • Goes yard against Royals
Hoskins went 1-for-5 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 6-5 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Hoskins provided the Brewers first run of the game, leading off the second inning with a solo home run. The long ball was matched by Joey Ortiz, who immediately followed suit and hit a home run as the next batter after Hoskins. Even with Tuesday's long ball, Hoskins is batting 4-for-27 (.148) in his last eight games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:29 pm
    • Logan O’Hoppe has four hits in win
Logan O’Hoppe went 4-for-5 with two RBI in a win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: All four of O’Hoppe’s hits were singles and only one of them was hit harder than 95 mph, but the 24-year-old won’t be complaining. The catcher was a popular breakout candidate this season and while he hasn’t set the world on fire, his .279/.330/.404 triple slash is solid from the catcher position. He’s not going to get too many RBI opportunities in a depleted lineup, but his 13 on the season is better than nothing. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm
    • Jeimer Candelario returns to lineup on Tuesday
Jeimer Candelario (shin) has returned to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Candelario is back for Tuesday’s series opener at Great American Ball Park following a one-game absence due to a left shin contusion. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:48 pm

    • Receiving first day off
Ward is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Advice: Ward started the first 35 games of the season but has a .602 OPS over his past 10 contests and will take a seat Tuesday. Kevin Pillar will start in left field and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:31 pm
