    • Notches ninth save
Munoz allowed a hit in a scoreless inning against the Yankees on Monday. He struck out two and earned a save.

Advice: Munoz worked around a one-out single by Juan Soto to finish off the 5-4 victory. Since blowing a save in Colorado on April 21, Munoz has converted his last seven chances, allowing just one run over 13 innings during that span. His ERA is down to 1.77 with a 28:7 K:BB through 20.1 frames. Rotowire.com Today, 7:16 pm
    • Swipes two bags
Yelich went 0-for-3 with two walks, two steals, and a run scored in Monday's loss to Miami.

Advice: Yelich stole his fifth and sixth bases of the season in the sixth inning. First the Brewers outfielder stole second before catching starter Ryan Weathers off-guard on a throw back from his catcher, taking the opportunity to swipe home. Overall, Yelich is slashing .321/.398/.564 in 89 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 7:14 pm

    • Christian Yelich steals two bases Monday in loss
Christian Yelich walked twice and stole two bases on Monday in the Brewers’ extra-inning loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Yelich walked and stole second base in the sixth inning before making a daring heads-up decision to steal home on Marlins starter Ryan Weathers later in the frame. It was his first multi-steal performance since back on Opening Day and just the 16th time he’s accomplished the feat in his career. Rotoworld Today, 7:04 pm

    • Pablo López crushed for seven runs Monday in loss
Pablo López was torched for a season-high seven runs over five innings on Monday in a loss to the Nationals.

Advice: López coughed up early homers to Luis García Jr. and Jesse Winker before things came completely unraveled in the fifth inning when he surrendered run-scoring singles to Jacob Young, Joey Meneses and Garcia. He struck out five and only handed out one free pass. He’ll bring an inflated 4.72 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 63/9 K/BB ratio across 55 1/3 innings (10 starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Rangers. Rotoworld Today, 6:45 pm
    • Shelled in loss
Lopez (4-3) took the loss Monday against Washington, allowing seven runs on eight hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Lopez was done in by the longball, yielding two homers in a game for the second time this season. The Minnesota right-hander entered 2024 with a career 1.1 HR/9 and now sports a 1.5 HR/9 in 55.1 innings this season. Lopez's ERA sits at 4.72, almost a full tick higher than his career 3.86 entering the season. He is tentatively scheduled to make his next start against Texas at home this weekend. • J.P. Crawford (oblique) activated by Mariners
Mariners activated SS J.P. Crawford from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Crawford’s pregame workout today was impressive enough to get him back on the roster tonight after his absence due to an oblique strain and a subsequent bruised hand, but he won’t return to the starting lineup until tomorrow. Dylan Moore will return to his utility role then after spending the last 3 1/2 weeks as a starting shortstop. Rotoworld Today, 3:47 pm

    • Activated but not starting Monday
The Mariners activated Crawford (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Mariners put Crawford through a full pregame workout Monday, which is surely the reason why he's not in the lineup. He will be available off the bench, though, before likely returning to the starting nine Tuesday. Dylan Moore will handle shortstop again Monday. Rotowire.com Today, 3:28 pm

    • Craig Kimbrel back in closer’s role for Orioles
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde mostly confirmed Monday that Craig Kimbrel is again Baltimore’s closer.

Advice: It’s no surprise after Kimbrel picked up a clean save Sunday, but confirmation is always nice. MASN’s Steve Melewski quoted Hyde as saying: “Well yeah, I think so. Probably. I’m going to see how he feels today. … He looked great yesterday that was awesome. Really happy.” Yennier Cano can be dropped in shallow mixed leagues for now. Rotoworld Today, 2:24 pm

    • Likely to be activated Tuesday
Crawford (oblique) will go through a pregame workout Monday before likely being activated from the injured list Tuesday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Advice: Crawford is with the Mariners in New York and insists he's ready to go, but the club wants to see him get through a workout first before it brings him back. He's been out since late April with a Grade 1 right oblique strain. Dylan Moore is handling shortstop again for Seattle on Monday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:06 pm
