      Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Saturday that Williams (back) is expected to be cleared to throw off a mound soon, Jack Stern of Brewer Fanatic reports.

      Advice: Murphy also added that Williams remains on track to return just after the All-Star break, although that would seem to be a tentative timetable given that the reliever has yet to resume throwing off a mound.       Gavin Stone didn’t factor into the decision Saturday against the Royals after allowing three runs over seven innings with three strikeouts.

      Advice: Stone allowed four hits and walked two while throwing 61-of-94 pitches in the strike zone. The 25-year-old allowed all three runs on a long roundtripper by Salvador Perez.       Anthony Santander went 2-for-5 with a solo home run against the Phillies on Friday.

      Advice: Santander’s eighth inning home run was the first Matt Strahm has allowed all season and just the first run he’s allowed at all since opening day. Then Santander put one to the warning track in the 10th inning which nearly won the game for Baltimore. Also, his first inning single was smoked 114.4 MPH - the hardest he’s ever hit a ball in his career. That’s a great sign for the power hitting switch-hitter moving forward.       Advice: Ozuna got the Braves going early, taking Zack Littell deep to the opposite field in the first inning and Atlanta wouldn’t look back.
