    • Seth Lugo turns in quality start in no-decision
Seth Lugo yielded three runs in 6 2/3 innings Tuesday in a no-decision against the Brewers.

Advice: Lugo got just five missed swings tonight, but he wound up with five strikeouts anyway. Back-to-back homers from Rhys Hoskins and Joey Ortiz in the second inning accounted for most of the damage. Lugo will get the Angels on the road next time out. Rotoworld 50 minutes ago

    • Profar’s two-run homer not enough in loss to Cubs
Jurickson Profar went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Profar blasted a two-run homer off of Shota Imanaga in the eighth inning to give the Padres a 2-1 lead after being stifled by Imanaga through the first seven frames. The veteran left field continues to stay hot at the plate, as he’s now 10-for-23 in the month of May with two homers and eight RBI. Rotoworld Today, 7:26 pm
    • Imanaga dazzles, strikes out 8 in win over Padres
Shota Imanaga allowed two earned runs over seven innings while striking out eight in the Cubs’ 3-2 win over the Padres.

Advice: Imanaga was stellar again on a night where the Cubs only provided him one run on offense. Unfortunately, a disastrous eighth inning, which he entered with 95 pitches alread on the ledger, quickly went awry for the lefty, who gave up a single a two-run homer to Jurickson Profar in the frame to get saddled with the loss. Outside of the disastrous eighth, Imanaga didn’t run into too much trouble in this one, stranding only one runner in scoring position while limiting the Padres to only singles through his first seven innings. He still sits at a perfect 5-0 on the season, but will look to earn his sixth win on Monday against the Braves. Rotoworld Today, 7:22 pm

    • Kyle Finnegan notches 12th save of the season
Kyle Finnegan recorded his 12th save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Orioles.

Advice: Finnegan pitched a perfect ninth inning to close out the Orioles in the 3-0 win. The Nationals closer is now 12-of-13 in save opportunities this season and is a perfect 3-for-3 in save opportunities this month. He and the National will look to record a two-game sweep of the Orioles in the short series on Wednesday. Rotoworld Today, 6:14 pm

    • Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) throws bullpen session
Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session on Tuesday.

Advice: It was Kershaw’s second bullpen session since undergoing offseason left shoulder surgery. The 36-year-old future Hall of Fame southpaw is targeting a midseason return to Los Angeles’ starting rotation mix and remains a viable option for fantasy managers on a per-start basis, when healthy. • Spencer Turnbull to pitch in relief on Tuesday night
Spencer Turnbull will pitch in relief during Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Turnbull is expected to piggyback with southpaw Cristopher Sánchez on Tuesday night when the Phillies take on the Blue Jays at Citizens Bank Park. The 31-year-old right-hander has been brilliant this season in his Philadelphia debut before Taijuan Walker’s return last week bumped him back to the bullpen. He figures to gobble up a couple frames in this contest, which will be his first appearance since last Tuesday when he allowed two runs over 5 1/3 frames against the Angels. Rotoworld Today, 1:58 pm
    • Will follow Sanchez in relief
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said that Turnbull will pitch in relief Tuesday against the Blue Jays, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Thomson wouldn't reveal exactly how Turnbull will be used, but Gelb says the right-hander will likely pitch three innings or so in what could be a piggyback situation with starter Cristopher Sanchez. Turnbull was demoted to the bullpen recently in spite of a 1.67 ERA and 36:10 K:BB in 32.1 innings this season, as the team has an eye on his workload since he hasn't thrown more than 56.2 innings in a season since 2019. • Taking seat Tuesday
Realmuto is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Blue Jays.

Advice: It's a rare day off for Realmuto, who has reached base eight times over the last three games. Garrett Stubbs will get a start behind the plate for the Phillies. Rotowire.com Today, 12:07 pm

    • Another perfect inning
Clase picked up the save Monday against Detroit, striking out one batter across a perfect ninth frame.

Advice: Clase turned in a third consecutive perfect outing, throwing merely nine pitches to earn his 11th save of 2024. The 26-year-old has been incredible thus far, boasting a 19:1 K:BB and a 0.49 ERA through 18.1 innings and is tied for the league lead in saves. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:54 pm
