    • Mason Miller nets first career victory on Friday
      Mason Miller fired a perfect ninth inning on Friday against the Blue Jays to pick up his first win of the season.

      Advice: Miller’s fastball velocity was down slightly in this one as he failed to touch triple-digits on three fastballs, but was still averaging a sizzling 99.4 mph in this one. He needed just 12 pitches to strike out a pair of batters in a flawless ninth inning before JJ Bleday delivered a walk-off homer in the bottom of the frame to give him his first win of the year. The hard-thrwoing 25-year-old former top prospect has blossomed into arguably the best reliever in baseball this season with 12 saves to go along with a stellar 2.20 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 54/11 K/BB ratio across 28 2/3 innings (22 appearances).     • Blanks Twins for eighth win
      Keller (8-3) earned the win Friday over Minnesota, allowing seven hits and two walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out eight.

      Advice: It's the sixth straight win for Keller -- he hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in that span, pitching to a 1.13 ERA. The 28-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.16 on the season with a 1.24 WHIP and 74:22 K:BB across 13 starts (79.2 innings).       Miller (1-0) struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the win Friday over the Blue Jays.

      Advice: The win was Miller's first in the majors, which came in his 32nd career appearance. He kept the game tied at 1-1 in the top of the ninth inning before JJ Bleday swatted a walk-off solo home run in the Athletics' half of the frame. While Miller's been scored on in three of his last six outings, he's still sporting a 2.20 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 54:11 K:BB through 28.2 innings this season.     • Teoscar Hernández delivers in 11th in Dodgers’ win
      Teoscar Hernández went 2-for-4 and doubled in two runs in the 11th to propel the Dodgers past the Yankees 2-1 on Friday.

      Advice: It was a scoreless game until Hernández delivered the contest’s first big hit off Ian Hamilton in the 11th. It actually gave him his first multi-RBI game since May 14.       Anthony Santander went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run against the Rays on Friday.

      Olson (1-7) took the loss Friday against Milwaukee, allowing eight runs on 12 hits and a walk over four innings. He struck out six.

      Advice: It was a brutal night for Olson, who was tagged for a career-high eight runs. The 24-year-old right-hander has now allowed 13 runs over 9.1 innings in his last two outings after holding opponents to one earned run or fewer in each of his previous six outings. Overall, Olson sports a 3.43 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP and 58:22 K:BB across 65.2 innings.       Reese Olson allowed eight runs in four innings and took the loss against the Brewers on Friday.



      Advice: Olson gave up 12 hits, walked one and struck out six. He allowed five runs to the Red Sox in his last start and followed it up with his worst start of the season. Olson had a 1.92 ERA at the end of May, but now his ERA is 3.43 on the season. He allowed two home runs against the Red Sox in his last start, but didn’t allow any home runs to the Brewers. Olson did allow three doubles and a triple to Milwaukee. He struck out three in the first inning, but then allowed five runs in the second inning and it was downhill from there.     • Keller stellar again, picks up eighth win Friday
      Mitch Keller threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Pirates’ 3-0 victory over the Twins on Friday.



      Advice: Keller gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was his eighth of the season. Keller has now won six starts in a row and all of them have been quality starts. His ERA is 1.13 over his last six starts with a .226 average allowed. Keller now has a 3.16 ERA and SO:BB of 74:22 in 13 starts this year. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cardinals on the road next week.
