Freeman is hitting .306/.425/.435 on the season and while the power may not be as prevalent as he continues to get along, the rest of his offensive profile as remained tremendous.       Jeimer Candelario finished 0-for-4 with three strikeouts against the Rangers on Friday.

      Advice: Candelario would have been one to avoid in fantasy drafts this year if only he had signed with almost any other team. With the Reds, though, there was reason to think he’d maintain ample mixed-league value. Instead, his exit velocity numbers are way down and his strikeout rate is way up, making this a truly miserable April for the 30-year-old.       Freddie Freeman went 2-for-3 with an RBI double on Thursday, lifting the Dodgers to a 2-1 victory over the Nationals.

      Advice: Freeman has flown a bit under the radar with Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani justifiably stealing the early-season spotlight. However, his latest multi-hit performance puts his batting average back above the .300 mark for the first time this season. The 34-year-old fantasy stalwart has shown zero signs of slowing down at this stage of his career and remains an elite four-category contributor also capable of chipping in the occasional stolen base.       Luis Arraez went 3-for-5 with a run scored on Wednesday in the Marlins’ extra-inning loss to the Braves.

      Advice: Just like that, Arraez is batting .299 (32-for-107) after notching his seventh multi-hit performance in the last two weeks. He sparked Miami’s ninth-inning rally against Braves stopper Raisel Iglesias with a leadoff single to cap off a three-hit effort.       Advice: There’s not much to say here, as Arraez’s two hits made up all but one of the Marlins’ hits in the shutout loss. Arraez has now hit safely in three straight games and has eight hits over his last five. He’s hitting just .284 on the year, but his 29 hits are still good for top 10 in the league.       Advice: Freeman doubled his first time up and then doubled home two runs as part of an eight-run fifth inning for the Dodgers. He's now reached base six times in the last two games and has five RBI over that span.       Advice: Santander doubled twice in this contest, and both scored runs.
