    • Cora: Tyler O’Neill (knee) to return on Wednesday
Red Sox manager Alex Cora told reporters Tyler O’Neill (knee) will return on Wednesday.

Advice: O’Neill went 0-for-3 on Tuesday in a minor league rehab contest for Triple-A Worcester and will rejoin the Red Sox for Wednesday’s showdown against the Braves at Fenway Park. The 28-year-old slugger has been out since late May due to right knee inflammation. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:53 pm

    • Tyler O’Neill (knee) could be activated Wednesday
Tyler O’Neill (knee) will start a rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Worcester.

Advice: If that game goes well, Red Sox manager Alex Cora told reporters that O’Neill could be activated off the injured list prior to Wednesday’s game against Atlanta. There’s also a chance they could wait one more day if they feel the outfielder needs a little more time, but either way, the activation is close. It’d be a significant return for the Red Sox, especially after Wilyer Abreu was placed on the injured list with his ankle sprain. Fantasy managers who roster O’Neill should be ready to bring him back up. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:17 pm

    • Playing in rehab game Tuesday
O'Neill (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: The Red Sox remain optimistic that O'Neill will be ready for activation when first eligible Wednesday, but they've decided to give him a rehab game first. O'Neill has been out since late May due to right knee inflammation. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:17 pm

    • Homers in two straight
Gurriel went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-2 win over San Francisco.

Advice: Gurriel led off the second inning with a home run, his eighth of the season, to give Arizona an early lead. It was the second consecutive game in which he homered in his first plate appearance. The outfielder has a modest six-game hit streak, going 6-for-24 during that stretch. • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hits 100th career homer in win
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit his 100th career homer Monday against the Giants.

Advice: Gurriel entered June in the midst of a six-week slump, but he’s now homered in back-to-back games to start the month. He’s certainly worth trying in leagues in which he was dropped. Rotoworld Monday, 9:49 pm
    • Homers in return
Gurriel went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Mets.

Advice: Gurriel, who was scratched from Saturday's game with an Illness, made an immediate impact in his return to the starting lineup. He and Ketel Marte put Arizona up early with solo homers in the first inning. The home run was Gurriel's seventh of the season and first in 11 games. He's slumped since the end of April, batting just .182 with two home runs and 10 RBI over the last 32 games. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:10 am
    • On bench against lefty
Lux is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Rockies.

Advice: Lux has gone 3-for-17 over his past six contests and will head to the bench Sunday as southpaw Austin Gomber takes the mound for Colorado. Miguel Rojas will step in at the keystone and bat sixth in the series finale. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:09 pm

    • Good to go Sunday
Gurriel (illness) will start in left field and bat third Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: The veteran outfielder was scratched from Saturday's lineup due to flu-like symptoms, but he's back in the starting nine for Sunday's series finale in Queens. Gurriel had a rough time at the plate in May and finished the month with a .213/.245/.287 slash line in 25 games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:48 am
    • Ozuna hits 17th home run in loss Saturday
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-5 with two runs scored, a home run and four RBI against the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: The home run was Ozuna’s 17th of the season. Only Aaron Judge, Kyle Tucker and Gunnar Henderson have more. Only Jose Ramirez has more than Ozuna’s 53 RBI this year. The 33-year-old designated hitter is having the best season of his career at the plate. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:47 pm
