      Advice: The score was close early on, but a four-run fourth inning for Seattle put Miller on cruise control. The right-hander racked up 13 whiffs en route to his nine punchouts, which tied his second-highest total of the season.       Bryce Miller threw six shutout innings and picked up the win in the Mariners’ 9-0 victory over the Angels on Saturday.

      Advice: The win was Miller’s fifth of the season. He gave up three hits, walked one and struck out nine. Miller’s ERA is now 3.18 on the season.       Advice: Ramirez singled and came around to score in the first then stole second and scored from there on a wild pitch in the third.       José Ramírez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base in the Guardians 3-2 win over the Nationals on Saturday.

      Advice: Ramírez knocked a base hit in the first inning and scored on a single by Kyle Manzardo. He knocked another base hit to lead off the third and stole second before scoring from second on a wild pitch. The 31-year-old third baseman has been on a tear over the last month.       Raleigh went 1-for-3 with an RBI sacrifice fly and a run-scoring single in a win over the Angels on Friday.

      Advice: Raleigh's timely hitting would prove to be essential in a one-run victory, with the backstop bringing home the first run of the game with a sacrifice fly in the opening frame before delivering a fifth-inning knock to plate J.P. Crawford and extend the Mariners' lead to 4-0 at the time. Raleigh had been mired in a 1-for-17 funk over the previous six games, however, and he's recorded just a sole extra-base hit over the 43 plate appearances spanning his last 12 games after lacing 14 over his first 41 contests of the campaign.       Cease did not factor into the decision in Friday's 11-8 win over the Royals, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: Despite generating 16 whiffs out of his 98 total pitches, Cease managed to strike out only five, tying a season low also reached May 20 against Atlanta and April 27 against Philadelphia. The Padres ace was cruising through five innings, allowing just two baserunners; however, he unraveled in a 25-pitch sixth inning, allowing four baserunners and departing with just one out.       Dylan Cease allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Friday.

      Advice: Cease was pretty great to begin the year, posting a 2.19 ERA in his first eight starts, but this makes four straight outings that have missed the quality-start threshold.       Advice: Bibee dominated in six shutout frames before Washington finally pushed home a run in the seventh. He's turned in three straight quality starts, dropping his season ERA from 4.34 to 3.74 during that span. The 25-year-old righty has allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his first 12 starts.     • Tanner Bibee blazes past Nationals for win
      Tanner Bibee allowed one earned run across 6 ⅓ innings in a 7-1 win over the Nationals on Friday. He struck out seven and walked one.

      Advice: This was a tremendous start for Bibee mostly fueled by increased fastball velocity. His heater ticked up to 98 MPH and averaged 95.5 MPH, but tailed off in the seventh inning as the Nationals started to get around on him. This was the second time in three starts Bibee’s fastball averaged at least 95.5 MPH and keeping the velocity on that pitch up is the key to his success. Rotoworld Friday, 6:40 pm
