    • Jorge Polanco (hamstring) not in Saturday’s lineup
Jorge Polanco (hamstring) remains absent from the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Orioles.

Advice: Polanco hasn’t been placed on the injured list yet, but he’s out of Seattle’s lineup for the fourth straight contest on Saturday afternoon with Josh Rojas filling in at the keystone. The 30-year-old infielder has been sidelined since exiting Monday’s game against the Royals with right hamstring tightness. Rotoworld Today, 10:16 am

    • Gets breather versus LHP
Suwinski isn't in the Pirates' lineup Saturday versus the Cubs.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Suwinski will retreat to the bench as fellow lefty Shota Imanaga toes the slab for the Cubs on Saturday. As a result, Edward Olivares will pick up a start in right field and bat fourth. Rotowire.com Today, 10:13 am

    • Remains out Saturday
Polanco (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Orioles.

Advice: Polanco will remain on the bench for a fourth consecutive game as he continues to nurse right hamstring soreness. Josh Rojas will draw another start and second base and bat leadoff against Baltimore. Rotowire.com Today, 10:09 am

    • Secures fourth save
Fairbanks struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his fourth save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The right-hander needed only six pitches (five strikes) to dispatch the heart of Toronto's order, setting down Bo Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero and Justin Turner. Fairbanks still isn't quite flashing his usual velocity -- he topped out at 97.3 mph with his fastball Friday after averaging 98.9 mph in 2023 -- but he hasn't seemed to miss the extra gear since coming off the IL, firing four straight hitless, scoreless appearances with a 6:0 K:BB. • Jordan Walker batting .328 at Triple-A Memphis
Jordan Walker went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Friday for Triple-A Memphis.

Advice: Just like that, Walker is batting .328 (19-for-58) with zero homers and two steals in 15 contests since being jettisoned to the minors back in late April following a brutal stretch at the dish to open the season. It’s easy to forget that Walker is still just 21 years old and still finding his footing at the highest level. He was an impact fantasy contributor last year when he returned from an early-season demotion and appears to be following a similar track this time around as well. Rotoworld Today, 3:25 am

    • Brayan Bello surrenders three homers in defeat
Brayan Bello surrendered five runs in 4 2/3 innings Friday in a loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: The ability is there for Bello to be better than this, but he’s just so overrated now. The Cardinals were averaging one homer every 51 plate appearances this season before Bello gave up three to the 21 batters he faced tonight. Boston would have been better off giving his six-year deal to Kutter Crawford this spring. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:52 pm
    • Tagged with five runs
Bello (4-2) allowed five runs on seven hits over 4.2 innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Cardinals.

Advice: Bello coughed up three home runs, including Lars Nootbaar's two-run shot in the first inning. The five runs allowed were a season high for Bello and it was also his shortest outing of the year. Entering Friday's start, he'd allowed just five earned runs over his previous 21.2 frames (2.08 ERA). Bello will carry a 3.96 ERA into his next matchup, which is lined up to come in Tampa Bay next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:11 pm
    • José Ramirez hits game-winning homer Friday
José Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a win over the Twins on Friday.

Advice: It’s been a trying season for Ramirez with his OBP hanging right around .300 despite 10 home runs, 38 RBI, and seven stolen bases. His batted ball metrics have also tailed off for the second time in three seasons, but his counting stats remain spectacular. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:48 pm

    • Slugs 10th homer
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Ramirez's long ball gave the Guardians the lead for good in the eighth inning. It was his 10th homer of the year, five of which he's hit over the last 12 contests -- a span that's also seen him collect 13 RBI and three stolen bases. The third baseman is slashing .249/.301/.463 with 38 RBI, 28 runs scored, seven steals, six doubles and a triple through 44 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:46 pm
