    • Swipes first bag
Vaught went 2-for-5 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Thursday's loss to the Twins.

Advice: Vaughn singled in his first trip to the plate before also stealing his first base of the season, but was left stranded. He added a double in his next at-bat, then came around to score on a Paul DeJong single to put Chicago up 2-0, marking the first baseman's only multi-hit performance since April 9 against the Guardians. Vaughn is still batting just .167 following the two-hit effort, though he has hit safely in three of his last four games. Rotowire.com Today, 4:37 am
    • Fans seven in no-decision
Keller allowed four runs on six hits and two walks over five frames in a no-decision against the Brewers on Thursday while striking out seven.

Advice: Keller got off to a rocky start, surrendering a solo home run to William Contreras in the second at-bat of the game. Back-to-back walks to open the frame and some shaky defense behind him then led to two more runs in the third. The right-hander failed to make it through six innings for the first time in his last four starts while allowing four earned runs for the fourth time this season. On a positive note, Keller did record his second-highest strikeout total of the campaign with seven. Rotowire.com Today, 3:51 am
    • Keeps rolling with seventh save
Phillips earned a save against the Nationals on Thursday, striking out two batters in a perfect inning of work.

Advice: Phillips didn't have any trouble protecting Los Angeles' one-run ninth-inning lead, striking out the first two batters he faced before inducing a game-ending groundout. The right-hander has yielded just one earned run over 10.2 innings on the season, giving him a minuscule 0.84 ERA. Phillips has converted all seven of his save chances as he continues to build his case as one of the league's most reliable closers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:24 pm
    • Belts two homers in win
Julien went 2-for-4 with two homers, two RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Julien has shown good power early in the season with seven home runs and a .513 SLG. He's hitting just .213, however, as he needs to reduce his 33.3% K% and make more contact. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:13 pm
    • Nolan Jones sits out Thursday with back issue
Nolan Jones (back) remained out of the lineup for Thursday’s series finale against the Padres.

Advice: It seems like Jones will be ready to return for this weekend’s highly-anticipated series against the Astros in Mexico City after sitting out a pair of contests against the Padres following an early exit from Tuesday’s game due to back stiffness. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. There should be some clarity on his status at some point later this week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:12 pm

    • Evan Phillips nets seventh save Thursday vs. Nats
Evan Phillips struck out two in a perfect ninth inning on Thursday against the Nationals to record his seventh save of the season.

Advice: Phillips was called upon to guard a one-run lead in the ninth inning and needed just 14 pitches (10 strikes) to slam the door for the second time in the brief three-game series. The 29-year-old righty has converted each of his seven save opportunities this season to go along with a microscopic 0.84 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 13/4 K/BB ratio across 10 2/3 innings (11 appearances). • Julien has two hits, home run in win over CWS
Edouard Julien went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI in a win over the White Sox on Thursday.

Advice: The 24-year-old hasn’t had a great start to the season, but he’s playing every day and is starting to find his groove a little at the plate. Although his season slash line is just .213/.308/.513, he has seven home runs and nine RBI and is 7-for-24 over his last six games with two home runs. With the Twins as banged up as they are, he should continue to get a chance to right the ship, and his elite plate discipline and strong batted-ball quality make him a fine waiver-wire target to see if he can keep his hot stretch going. • Vaughn has two hits in loss to Twins
Andrew Vaughn went 2-for-5 with a run scored in a loss to the Twins on Thursday.

Advice: The White Sox had nine hits and Vaughn was the only one with an extra-base hit when he laced a 103.3 mph shot off Simeon Woods-Richardson in the fourth inning. The 26-year-old is slashing a disappointing .170/.255/.216 on the season and has yet to grow into the power hitter that his prospect pedigree suggested he could be. With poor lineup context around him, it’s hard to roster Vaughn in most formats right now, but just keep an eye on him in case he starts to heat up as the weather warms. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:54 pm
    • Red Sox make Ceddanne Rafaela everyday shortstop
Red Sox manager Alex Cora confirmed Thursday that Ceddanne Rafaela is their new everyday shortstop.

Advice: There was some hesitation earlier this month from the Red Sox about potentially moving Rafaela back to shortstop in the wake of Trevor Story’s season-ending shoulder injury. However, they’ve officially made the move in part to shore up their lackluster middle infield defense and also get Wilyer Abreu’s hot bat into the lineup more often in a corner outfield spot. It’ll be Jarren Duran taking over in center field everyday until further notice. It’s a significant development for fantasy purposes as Rafaela gains middle infield eligibility, which gives him some additional appeal from a roster construction standpoint, even in shallow mixed leagues.
