    • Secures win with elite performance
Hader (3-3) earned the win over the Angels in 10 innings on Tuesday, pitching two perfect innings while striking out four.

Advice: Hader put together a vintage performance to help the Astros get by the Angels, which included striking out the side in the 10th inning. He's now pitched multiple frames in two of his last three outings and is showing signs of dominance once again after a rough start to the year. Over his last 11 games, Hader has a 1.26 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB in 14.1 innings, which equates to a 44.4 strikeout rate. For the year, he's now lowered his ERA to a 4.09 to compliment a 1.09 WHIP and 35:9 K:BB in 22 innings. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago

    • Takes loss in 10th
Estevez (0-3) took the loss against the Astros on Tuesday after allowing an unearned run on a hit and a walk while managing to record one out.

Advice: Estevez had no room for error after the Angels failed to score in the top of the 10th and was stuck with facing the heart of the Astros lineup. Yordan Alvarez was intentionally walked to start the inning, and then Alex Bregman was retired before giving up the game-winning hit to Jeremy Pena. Estevez has now pitched on back-to-back days and in three of the last four and likely will have the day off Wednesday. He now owns a 5.06 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 17:3 K:BB in 16 innings. • Mason Miller strikes out side for ninth save
Mason Miller struck out all three batters he faced Tuesday against the Rockies for his first save of the month.

Advice: Miller earned eight saves from Apr. 9-30, but the A’s hadn’t had any save situations for him since. Given that he also pitched Sunday, it’s possible he’ll now require Wednesday off. The A’s have allowed him to pitch on consecutive days twice, but they haven’t had him work three times in four days. That it’s a day game Wednesday doesn’t help. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:42 pm

    • Justin Lawrence takes blown save in seventh inning
Justin Lawrence took a blown save in the seventh after giving up a two-run homer to Oakland’s Seth Brown on Tuesday.

Advice: Jalen Beeks’ hold on the closer’s role in Colorado got a little stronger tonight. Lawrence, who has been dealing with an inflated ERA since giving up four earned runs in his second outing of the season, had been pitching well in amassing a 1.08 ERA this month. Still, he really needs to cut down on the walks; he’s issued 12 in 19 1/3 innings this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:42 pm
    • Picks up eighth save
Jansen collected the save Tuesday, allowing one hit and no walks over a scoreless inning against the Rays. He didn't generate a strikeout.

Advice: Jansen hadn't pitched since allowing a pair of runs and taking a loss May 16 and was able to shake off the rust after allowing a leadoff double to Isaac Paredes in the ninth, retiring three straight batters to pick up his eighth save of the season. The veteran closer owns a 5.14 ERA this month and has struck out seven batters in 7.0 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:37 pm
    • Falls short of quality start
Criswell didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Tampa Bay, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk across 5.1 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Both of the runs against Criswell came in the first inning, where he allowed Josh Lowe and Randy Arozarena to reach via hit to start the frame before Isaac Paredes plated them both with a single to left field. Despite not letting a runner reach scoring position after the first, Criswell's day came to an end early in the fifth when manager Alex Cora went to the bullpen in response to Yandy Diaz entering as a pinch hitter. With Garrett Whitlock (oblique) expected to undergo surgery, Criswell can be penciled into Boston's starting rotation for the foreseeable future. He's tentatively scheduled for a Monday start against the Orioles at Camden Yards. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:30 pm
    • Punches out seven
Littell didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Boston, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk across 5.2 innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Littell fared better against the Red Sox the second time around, holding them to three hits Tuesday after yielding seven hits and four runs to Boston in his last start. Though the 28-year-old did surrender a solo homer to Jarren Duran, he tied his season high in strikeouts and fewer than two batters for the sixth time in his last seven starts. Littell hasn't gone deeper than six innings this season but owns a 3.42 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP across 10 appearances. He's scheduled for a home start against the Athletics next Tuesday. • Notches fourth win
Sandlin (4-0) walked one and struck out two without allowing a hit or a run over two-thirds of an inning to earn the win Tuesday over the Mets.

Advice: Starter Xzavion Curry went 4.1 innings, falling short of qualifying for the win. Sandlin stepped up to finish the fifth inning, working his way out of a bases-loaded jam. The right-hander has kept runs off the board in all but three of his 26 appearances, though he has given up multiple runs in each of those three missteps. He's still pitched to a rock-solid 2.35 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 27:7 K:BB with a save and three holds over 23 innings while filling a fireman role in the Guardians' bullpen. • Josh Hader gets win after two perfect innings
Josh Hader picked up a win after pitching perfect ninth and 10th innings against the Angels on Tuesday.

Advice: Hader fanned four while pitching two innings for the second time in his last three appearances. He’s allowed one run and struck out 14 in 9 1/3 innings this month, lowering his ERA from 6.39 to 4.09. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:02 pm
