    • Exits with apparent leg injury
Buxton was removed from Wednesday's game against the White Sox in the bottom of the second inning with an apparent leg injury, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Advice: After reaching on a base hit in his first plate appearance of the day in the top of the second inning, Buxton attempted a steal of second base but came up lame and walked off the field gingerly after being tagged out. The Twins should have more clarity on the nature of Buxton's injury later Wednesday. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago

    • Byron Buxton exits game with apparent injury
Byron Buxton left Wednesday’s game with an injury after he attempted to steal second base.

Advice: Buxton went into second base standing up and appeared to favor his leg when he got caught stealing. He tapped his leg as he came off the field and a trainer met him at the foul line to check him out. We’ll have to wait on more information from the team to see if there’s anything significant. • Timely hit in Tuesday's win
Machado went 1-for-5 with a three-run double in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Reds.

Advice: Machado stepped up to the plate in the fifth with the bases juiced and cleared them all with a double to center field. That was his first extra-base hit since April 14 and his first multi-RBI game since April 12. He's tallied a hit in four of his five games since being reinstated from the paternity list and is now slashing .250/.304/.388 with four homers, 16 RBI, 16 runs and a 9:29 BB:K in 125 plate appearances. • Walks off Dodgers
Walker went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Walker bookended the Diamondbacks' scoring with a solo home run in the fourth inning then a two-run, walk-off job in the bottom of the 10th. He closed out the month on a roll, going 10-for-24 (.417) with four homers and nine RBI over the final seven games. The first baseman has a team-high seven home runs and is tied for the team lead with 22 RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 3:54 am
    • Creating a buzz: Walker hits walk-off HR in extras
Christian Walker homered twice including a two-run homer in the 10th inning to give the Diamondbacks a 4-3 win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: In a game that was delayed due to a swarm of bees, Walker ended up creating the buzz. Sorry. The first baseman homered in the fourth inning off Landon Knack, but the big blow was a two-run shot in the bottom of the 10th off Nabil Crismatt to give Arizona the victory. Walker has homered in two of his last three games, and he’s up to 7 on the season with an .890 OPS and 22 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:25 pm
    • Albies picks up two more hits, RBI in loss to M’s
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

Advice: Albies has driven in runs in both games against Seattle thus far. The switch-hitting infielder got Atlanta on the board in the eighth with a single to score Jarred Kelenic, and Albies is now up to 18 RBI on the season. That numbers even more impressive when you consider that Albies missed time with his toe injury. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:47 pm

    • Out of Tuesday's lineup
Buxton is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Buxton has an .820 OPS and 30.8 percent strikeout rate over his past 10 games and will take a seat Tuesday after starting the previous two contests. Willi Castro will shift to center field while Kyle Farmer receives the start at third base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:14 pm

    • Out to 90 feet Tuesday
Luzardo (elbow) will extend his catch out to 90 feet Tuesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Working his way back from a mild left flexor strain, Luzardo played catch Monday and will do so for a second straight day Tuesday. He will continue with a throwing progression as tolerated. Luzardo is eligible to return May 10, but there's no firm timetable for his potential activation yet. The shortstop is up to nine steals on 12 attempts on the year. He's added a .306/.351/.537 slash line with four home runs, 16 RBI, 24 runs scored, eight doubles and four triples over 30 contests.
