Byron Buxton picks up first stolen base of 2024
Byron Buxton went 1-for-4 with three runs scored and picked up his first stolen base of the 2024 campaign as the Twins walloped the Angels on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.
Advice: Buxton reached on a fielder’s choice in the fourth inning and came around to score the first run of the game on an RBI single by Jose Miranda. The 30-year-old outfielder also drew a walk in the seventh inning and scored on a ground out by Carlos Santana. He finished his day with a single in the eighth inning, then swiped second base and scored on an RBI double by Miranda. Buxton has remained relatively healthy so far this season, but is hitting an underwhelming .244/.283/.384 with one homer, 11 RBI and one stolen base.
