    • Luis Rengifo swipes two bags against Astros
Luis Rengifo had two hits and two steals against the Astros on Monday.

Advice: The second steal saw him jam his left hand into second base, leaving him with an injured middle finger in spite of the oven mitt he was wearing. He was in a lot of pain at first, but he was able to finish the game afterwards. Still, if he’s not in Tuesday’s lineup, this is probably the reason. Rotoworld Monday, 8:24 pm

    • Back at DH on Monday
Santander (knee) is batting fifth as the designated hitter Monday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Santander aggravated his bruised knee Saturday against the Mariners and was held out of the lineup Sunday, but he's been cleared to bat in the series opener at St. Louis. The 29-year-old said Sunday that running in the outfield has been a bit problematic, so he could continue to serve as Baltimore's DH for the next few days as he completes his recovery. • Rengifo has triple and RBI vs Rangers
Luis Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple, and an RBI in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Rengifo returned this weekend after being on the IL with an illness and was right back to the top of the batting order, which is good news for his fantasy value. His RBI triple in the seventh inning helped to pad the lead and his walk earlier in the game set him up for a stolen base attempt. While he was thrown out, the fact that he continues to lead off and run makes him a solid bet in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:38 pm

    • Knee remains bothersome
Santander is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mariners due to soreness and swelling in his left knee, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Advice: The 29-year-old served as Baltimore's designated hitter the past two days after he suffered a bruised knee Wednesday, and he aggravated the injury while running the bases. Santander said running in the outfield remains a bit of an issue, so he could be limited to DH duties for a few days as he gets back to full strength. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:29 am
    • Not starting Sunday
Buxton is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: Buxton went 1-for-4 with a run and an RBI in his return from right knee inflammation Saturday, and he'll sit for the series finale in Cleveland. Willi Castro will man center field Sunday for the Twins. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:19 am

    • Resting Sunday against southpaw
Melendez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Melendez will get a break as Oakland puts JP Sears on the mound. Dairon Blanco will get the start in left field and bat seventh with Garrett Hampson in center field and Hunter Renfroe in right. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:08 am

    • Byron Buxton not starting Sunday vs. Guardians
Byron Buxton is not in the starting lineup versus the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Buxton was activated off the 10-day injured list Saturday, but the outfielder won’t be in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against Cleveland. Willi Castro is the starting centerfielder while Jose Miranda gets the start at third base. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:05 am

    • Anthony Santander resting Sunday vs. Mariners
Anthony Santander is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Mariners.

Advice: Santander did have a knee injury last week, but this appears to just be a day of rest for the outfielder. Austin Hays is starting against right-hander George Kirby and hitting sixth. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:50 am
    • Out of lineup Sunday
Santander is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Seattle, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Santander started the last two games at designated hitter coming off the knee injury suffered Wednesday. The veteran outfielder will get a break Sunday as Baltimore rounds out its series with the Mariners, and it appears to just be a maintenance day since there's been no reports that he aggravated the injury.
