      Advice: The right-hander dealt with back tightness in his most recent start Monday against the Cubs and was lifted after five scoreless innings, but he's apparently feeling better two days later. Assuming he's able to make it out of his between-starts bullpen session without incident, Lopez shouldn't face any major workload restrictions when he toes the rubber Sunday. After spending most of the last two seasons as a reliever, Lopez has exceeded expectations with his move to a starting role in his first year in Atlanta, going 2-1 with a 1.34 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 40:16 K:BB in 40.1 innings through his first seven outings.       Hader (2-3) allowed a walk and struck out three over two scoreless and hitless innings to earn the extra-inning win over the Athletics on Tuesday.

      Advice: After starter Ronel Blanco was ejected for the alleged use of a foreign substance, this became a bit of a bullpen game for the Astros as they looked to protect a 1-0 lead. Ryan Pressly couldn't maintain the lead in the eighth inning, but Hader pitched well in the ninth and 10th, and he got the win after Victor Caratini delivered a walk-off hit as a pinch hitter. Hader's active 4.1-inning scoreless streak is his longest of the season. He's now at a 4.74 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 30:9 K:BB with five saves in six chances over 19 innings this season.       Alvarado picked up the save Monday against the Mets. He pitched a clean inning with no strikeouts.

      Advice: Alvarado collected his first save since May 5 on Monday night, requiring just nine pitches to retire the Mets in the tenth inning. Outside of yielding five runs on Opening Day, the 28-year-old lefty has been a stalwart, firing a 1.06 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB over 17 innings since then.       José Alvarado tossed a scoreless 10th inning on Monday against the Mets to notch his eighth save of the season.

      Advice: Alvarado got the call to guard a one-run lead in the 10th inning after the Phillies finally pulled ahead and needed just nine pitches (seven strikes) to end it. The hard-throwing 28-year-old stopper has converted all eight of his save chances this season to go along with a solid 3.57 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 16/7 K/BB ratio across 17 2/3 innings (19 appearances).       Advice: López certainly would’ve gone deeper into the contest, but he was lifted for precautionary reasons following just 71 pitches (50 strikes) after his back tightened up on him. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern with Braves manager Brian Snitker telling reporters afterwards that he doesn’t expect him to miss his next start. The 30-year-old righty will bring a stellar 1.34 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 40/16 K/BB ratio across 40 1/3 innings (seven starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Padres.       Shota Imanaga struck out eight over five shutout innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Braves.

      Advice: Imanaga continues to be an unexpected revelation in his Cubs debut, allowing two earned runs or fewer for the eighth consecutive start in this one. The 30-year-old southpaw silenced Atlanta’s formidable lineup, scattering seven hits and three walks over five scoreless frames. He induced a staggering 18 swinging strikes and finished with a 27 percent CSW, needing 98 pitches (58 strikes) to get through five innings. However, the Atlanta offense made the Cubs lefty work hard for his scoreless night as they had 10 baserunners and drew three walks, both setting season-highs allowed for Imanaga.       Foley pitched a clean ninth inning with two strikeouts to record the save in Monday's 6-5 win over the Marlins.

      Advice: Foley has emerged in a crowded bullpen as the preferred closing option, and he's looked good so far, converting 10 out of 11 save chances and posting a solid 2.20 ERA. The righty came into the season with just seven career saves at the MLB level, and it's no guarantee he holds onto the job all year with other capable candidates on the roster.
