• Morel hits 11th homer of season vs. White Sox
Christopher Morel went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Morel hit his 11th home run of the season in the sixth inning off White Sox reliever Justin Anderson. After putting Cody Bellinger on first via a hit-by-pitch, Anderson hung a breaking ball to Morel, who blasted it 423 feet to deep left-center while cutting the White Sox’s lead to 5-3. In typical feast-or-famine fashion, Morel is now hitting .201 on the year with 16 extra-base hits and 37 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:28 pm
  • Elly De La Cruz hits 10th homer in Reds’ win
Elly De La Cruz hit his 10th homer Tuesday in the victory over the Rockies.

Advice: We’re not sure De La Cruz has pulled out of his lengthy slump just yet, but according to xwOBA, he has performed better these last 10-14 days than he did during the first three weeks of May. The homer tonight was his first since May 11. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:26 pm

  • Duran drives in lone run for Rangers in loss
Ezequiel Duran went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Duran’s RBI single in the ninth gave the Rangers their only run in the evening and was just one of the five hits they had in the night. Duran and the Rangers spent much of the night being stifled by Jack Flaherty and the Tigers’ bullpen, but did manage to break through with two hits in the final frame. Duran has one home run and seven RBI on the season over 41 games and can continue to be left on the waiver wire. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:06 pm

  • Big effort in win
McKinstry went 2-for-4 with a triple and a two-run home run in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.

Advice: McKinstry launched his first home run of the season in the second inning, then followed with his second triple of the year in the fourth. While Javier Baez is still the team's primary option at shortstop, McKinstry has managed to carve out a sizeable role amid Baez's struggles at the plate. McKinstry is probably best suited as a utility player, however, so he likely will continue to move around the field rather than replace Baez altogether. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:01 pm

  • Royce Lewis homers against Yankees in return
Royce Lewis clubbed a solo homer and walked twice on Tuesday in the Twins’ loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Of course. Lewis made an immediate impact in his return to Minnesota’s lineup on Tuesday night in New York, taking Yankees veteran reliever Tommy Kahnle deep for a seventh-inning solo shot to left field. The 25-year-old reached base safely in all three of his plate appearances and has two homers in just two games played on the year. The central question for fantasy managers moving forward is whether he can stay on the field for an extended period to establish himself as an elite fantasy contributor at the hot corner. • Twins activate Royce Lewis for Tuesday return
Twins activated INF Royce Lewis from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Lewis is officially back at third base and batting fifth for Tuesday’s highly-anticipated series opener against the Yankees in New York. The talented 24-year-old homered and went 2-for-2 on Opening Day before leaving with his quad injury that cost him over two months. Lewis has the talent to be a major fantasy contributor, but there are going to be questions on whether he can stay on the field based on his lengthy injury history. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:38 am
  • Swipes 13th bag
Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a run and a stolen base in a 2-1 victory versus the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Offense in the contest was scarce, so Rengifo's role in producing the Angels' first run was especially valuable. He singled with one out in the fourth inning and stole second base before eventually crossing the plate on a Willie Calhoun single. Rengifo missed some time in May due to an illness, but he hasn't slowed down since returning, slashing .313/.353/.484 with two homers, six RBI, 10 runs and four stolen bases in 16 contests. The infielder leads the team and is tied for 12th in the majors with 13 thefts on the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:23 am

  • Returning from stint on IL
The Twins activated Lewis (quadricep) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Advice: Lewis is ready to go following an absence of nearly 10 weeks due to a strained right quad. The 24-year-old went 4-for-23 with an 8:1 K:BB over 24 plate appearances during a six-game rehab stint with Triple-A St. Paul. Per Dan Hayes of The Athletic, the Twins have instructed Lewis to run at less than full speed in hopes that it will give him a better chance of staying healthy. While that could put a bit of a damper on his stolen-base outlook, it's not a big part of Lewis' game, anyway, as he's totaled just six steals in 71 career games. Lewis will regain his role as the Twins' everyday third baseman, with Jose Miranda likely to now see reps in the designated hitter spot and/or first base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:24 am
  • Starts at 1B again
Duran started at first base and went 1-for-4 with a double in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Duran was in the starting lineup at first base for a third straight game -- all against lefties -- as it appears primary starter Nathaniel Lowe is losing work against southpaws. Duran is batting .235/.304/.275 against lefties this season -- which is lower than Lowe's line of .250/.327/.292 --suggesting the platoon may not be a long-term solution.
