• Collects three hits
Paredes went 3-for-5 with a two-RBI double during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Paredes plated Josh Lowe and Randy Arozarena on a first-inning double to give the Rays an early lead. However, Tampa Bay wouldn't score again in the game, going 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position outside of Paredes' double. The third baseman has generated multiple hits in five of his last 10 games and leads the Rays in home runs and RBI on the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:48 pm

  • Abraham Toro hits go-ahead homer in eighth
Abraham Toro hit a go-ahead homer in the bottom of the eighth Tuesday as the A’s came back to defeat the Rockies 5-4.

Advice: Toro’s blast came after Seth Brown tied the game with a two-run homer in the seventh. Toro, who was supposed to become a reserve due to the J.D. Davis acquisition at the end of the spring, has won back his job by hitting .294/.344/.459 in 183 plate appearances. His current .341 BABIP is more than 100 points higher than his .229 mark over his first five seasons. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:43 pm

  • Homers off bench Tuesday
Fry went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Mets.

Advice: Fry didn't start Tuesday, but he delivered a two-run home run when he pinch hit for Kyle Manzardo in the sixth inning. Over his last 11 games, Fry has gone 10-for-27 (.370) with four homers, nine RBI, 10 runs scored, two stolen bases and an 8:6 BB:K. The 28-year-old is taking advantage of every opportunity he gets despite lacking an everyday spot in the lineup. He's up to a .338/.476/.588 slash line with five homers, 18 RBI, 19 runs scored and three steals over 105 plate appearances this season. Fry has already surpassed his numbers from 113 plate appearances in 2023 in all of the major fantasy-relevant categories. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:19 pm

  • Luis Rengifo hits two-run homers against Astros
Luis Rengifo had a two-run homer and an RBI single versus the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Rengifo definitely wasn’t Ron Washington’s favorite player at the beginning of the year, but he’s been one of the best Angels thus far, having hit .316/.366/.474 in 124 plate appearances. Statcast thinks he’s way overachieving, given that his exit velocity numbers are significantly worse than his career marks, but things will probably even out there somewhat; his .840 OPS won’t quite hold up, but his exit velocity numbers should get better. • Pair of hits, homer
France went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: The first baseman clubbed his fifth homer of the campaign, taking Dennis Santana yard in the seventh frame. Across his last eight games, France is batting .276 with three home runs and hasn't struck out multiple times in a contest during that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:58 pm

  • Pops fourth homer
Renfroe went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Renfroe has gone 6-for-24 (.250) with five RBI over his last seven contests. While that's still modest hitting, it's a vast improvement on his .160 batting average for the season. Despite the middling results at the plate, Renfroe has started six of the last eight games in right field and appears to have fended off challenges for playing time from Dairon Blanco and Adam Frazier that popped up earlier in May. Renfroe has four homers, 18 RBI, 15 runs scored, four doubles, no stolen bases and a .518 OPS over 144 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:24 pm

  • Drives in two
Mendick went 2-for-4 with a single and a two-RBI double during Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Mendick entered Tuesday's contest 1-for-14 (.071) in four games since coming off the IL. The 30-year-old delivered a two-RBI double in the eighth inning off Tim Mayza to provide the White Sox with some insurance runs. Mendick has been serving as the White Sox's everyday third baseman with Bryan Ramos (quad) sidelined. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:22 pm

  • Raps out four hits
Garcia went 4-for-5 with two triples, one RBI and three runs scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Garcia showcased his speed Tuesday with the pair of triples. The third baseman has gone 14-for-39 (.359) during his nine-game hitting streak, and he's added three steals, eight RBI and nine runs scored in that span. For the season, the leadoff hitter is slashing .263/.308/.429 with five home runs, 32 RBI, 28 runs scored and 11 stolen bases across 48 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:20 pm

  • Stays hot Tuesday
Keith went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's 10-3 loss to the Royals.

Advice: While the Tigers struggled as a team, Keith continued to roll. The rookie is batting a robust .441 over his last 10 contests and he's recorded three or more hits in a game three times already this month. Keith came into May batting just .154 but he's pushed that up to .230, and the 22-year-old has a prospect pedigree that suggests he'll be able to sustain this level of play.
