• Smacks 12th home run
De La Cruz went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Monday's 7-6 loss versus the Cardinals.

Advice: De La Cruz's only hit in this game was a big one, he tied the score up with a three-run blast off JoJo Romero in the eighth. The 27-year-old is already up to 12 homers a year after totaling 19 in 153 games. His power numbers make him a valuable player, despite his low OBP and high strikeout totals. He'll carry a .242/.295/.416 slash line into Tuesday's contest. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago

  • Greg Jones hits first MLB home run
Greg Jones hit his first major league homer as a pinch-hitter Monday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Jones, a longtime Rays prospect, took fellow former Rays pitcher JP Feyereisen deep tonight. It’s Jones’ first hit in five at-bats since his callup 11 days ago. The Rockies, who are suffering for their utter inability to manage a 40-man roster, have given Jones just one start since calling him up from Triple-A. All indications are that he’ll head back to the minors in the near future, but it still might make sense for Colorado to give him some at-bats in the meantime. Rotoworld 46 minutes ago

  • Jazz Chisholm Jr. reaches base five times in loss
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-2 with an RBI on Monday in the Marlins’ extra-inning loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: O'Neill hit two of Boston's four home runs Monday for his first multi-homer game since April 5. He's up to 14 long balls this season but just six of those have come since the start of May. The slugging outfielder is slashing .258/.354/.534 with 25 RBI through 206 plate appearances. O'Neill has gone 11-for-30 (.367) with five multi-hit performances in eight games this month. Rotowire.com Today, 7:26 pm
