    Advice: Harper’s home run was his 18th of the year. He blasted a two-run shot into the second deck in right field off Arizona starter Tommy Henry in the third inning.   • Smith belts sixth home run in win Saturday
    Josh Smith went 2-for-3 with a solo home run against the Royals on Saturday.

    Advice: Smith’s home run was his sixth of the year. He’s 15-for-37 (.405) with three home runs, eight RBI and a stolen base in his last 13 games. Smith has stood out on the Rangers offense and found his way to the No. 3 spot in the lineup.     Jose Miranda went 3-for-5 with three RBI in a win over the Twins on Saturday.

    Advice: Miranda also drew a walk, so a four-reach game for the 25-year-old infielder on top of the three RBI. Those are always enjoyable.     Advice: Even in a blowout loss, Soderstrom was able to impress as he has for the overwhelming majority of June. What was a slash of .182/.308/.318 coming into the month now sits at .250/.353/.480, and the blast was his sixth homer of the season.     Manuel Margot hit a three-run homer while picking up three hits in a blowout win Saturday over the Athletics.

    Advice: Margot hit his three-run blast off a wholly ineffective JP Sears in the second inning; a frame that the Twins put up an eight spot against Sears and Osvaldo Bido.     Advice: Langford’s home run was just his third of the year, but he’s been heating up at the plate lately. Since returning from the injured list, he’s 23-for-77 (.298) with two home runs and 19 RBI in 21 games.     Ryan Bliss doubled twice and picked up three hits in a blowout win over the Marlins on Saturday.

    Advice: Bliss also scored a run. The 24-year-old rookie has picked up six hits in his seven at-bats against Miami in the series, and that’s helped improve his slash to .283/.353/.457. The question now becomes what Seattle does with Bliss when Jorge Polanco (hamstring) comes off the injured list, and what kind of role he’d serve if he did stay on the roster. He also singled three times in a game that improved his slash to a less-unappealing .234/.303/.467.
