    Ryan Noda homered in a second straight game for Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

    Advice: Noda didn’t immediately turn things around after his demotion to Triple-A at the beginning of May, but he’s now hit .288/.436/.675 with eight homers in his last 22 games. The A’s are committed to Tyler Soderstrom at first base at the moment, so unless they want to give Brent Rooker a bunch more outfield time, there’s no room for Noda at the moment.     Kyle Muller opened a rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas by throwing a scoreless innings Tuesday.

    Advice: Muller has missed a month with left shoulder tendinitis. We’ve yet to hear whether the A’s intend to stretch him out before bringing him back to the majors.     The Tigers optioned Lucas to Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday.

    Advice: Lucas' stay with the big club lasted just one day, and he went unused out of the bullpen in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Phillies. He'll be replaced on the 26-man active roster by right-hander Keider Montero, who was called up from Toledo to serve as a bulk reliever in Wednesday's series finale versus Philadelphia.     Advice: Per Evan Woodbery of MLive.com, Montero is slated to serve as a bulk reliever for the Tigers in Wednesday's game against the Phillies, likely entering the game in the second or third inning once opening pitcher Tyler Holton exits the contest. Montero's lone prior big-league appearance came as a starter back on May 29, when he gave up four earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five across 4.1 innings in a loss to the Pirates.     Arcia (head) got checked out at a local hospital Tuesday after continuing to feel unwell Monday night, and while tests came back negative, the shortstop could be sidelined for multiple days, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "We'll probably give him two or three days," manager Brian Snitker said prior to Tuesday's game in St. Louis being rained out.

    Advice: Arcia left Monday's 4-3 loss to St. Louis due to dizziness that was initially attributed to dehydration, although no official diagnosis has been announced. Atlanta is set to play a doubleheader Wednesday against the Cardinals following the rainout, but Arcia could end up sitting for the entire twin bill if he's still not feeling 100 percent.
