    • Slugs first homer as Padre
Solano went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Monday's 2-1 win over Miami.

Advice: Solano came into the contest having gone 2-for-13 over his previous seven contests, but he broke the slump with a second-inning solo homer for the game's first run. The long ball was his first as a member of the Padres after joining the organization on a minor-league deal in mid-April. Solano has never been much of a power hitter, but he's consistently demonstrated good contact skills and is slashing .321/.441/.464 in limited opportunities this season. • Senzel has two hits, two RBI Monday
Nick Senzel went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI against the Braves on Monday.

Advice: Senzel hit a two-run double in the first inning to extend the Nationals lead to 4-0. He’s hitting just .221 and striking out a decent amount with a 24 percent strikeout percentage. Senzel is hitting for power, though, with a .183 ISO and his 111 wRC+ would be a career-high. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:01 pm

    • Jose Miranda slugs moonshot homer to sink Royals
Jose Miranda clobbered a two-run homer on Monday in the Twins’ victory over the Royals.

Advice: Miranda kicked off the scoring in the third inning of Monday afternoon’s matinee affair at Target Field with a colossal 437-foot drive to left-center field off Royals starter Alec Marsh. It wound up being his lone hit in three at-bats before being lifted from the contest of a defensive replacement. The 25-year-old slugger has started to heat up lately, going deep three times in his last eight contests since May 19. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:41 pm
    • Vidal Bruján out of Monday’s lineup versus Padres
After going 0-for-3 in an increasingly rare start Sunday, Vidal Bruján is out of the lineup for Monday’s game.

Advice: Bruján was the Marlins’ primary second baseman before Tim Anderson got hurt, at which point he switched over to shortstop and Otto López took over at second. Unfortunately for Bruján, López got hot, and now Bruján has lost his spot with Anderson back, even though Anderson is running neck and neck with Andrew Benintendi for the title of baseball’s worst player. So, Bruján, one of the Marlins’ best players to date even if that’s not saying much, has been out of the lineup five times in the last six games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:20 pm

    • A’s outright Jordan Diaz to Triple-A
Athletics sent INF Jordan Diaz outright to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Advice: It’s surprising no one wanted to take a shot on a 23-year-old with some pretty good minor league numbers, but Diaz never has settled into a position and conditioning issues became a factor in his downfall with the A’s. Hopefully, he’ll earn another look at some point. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:06 pm

    • Outrighted to Triple-A
Diaz cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Las Vegas by the Athletics on Monday.

Advice: The 23-year-old was jettisoned from Oakland's 40-man roster last week but will remain in the organization as infield depth. Diaz has managed just a .204/.288/.327 batting line over 111 plate appearances with Las Vegas this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:53 pm

    • Justin Turner on the bench again
Justin Turner is on the bench for Monday’s game against the White Sox.

Advice: Turner got a day off on Sunday, but he remains out of the lineup on Monday with Daniel Vogelbach starting at designated hitter again. The 39-year-old is slashing just .222/.301/.359 in 173 plate appearances in 2024 with four home runs and 18 RBI. It’s possible that the Blue Jays will look to get at-bats for other players in his place, and fantasy managers can certainly look to do the same with a hot bat on the waiver wire. • Out of lineup again Monday
Turner is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Turner has now been absent from the lineup for two straight games and three times over his club's last five contests. He did enter the game twice over that stretch as a pinch hitter and will be an option to do so again Monday when/if the White Sox put a left-handed reliever in. Daniel Vogelbach will start at designated hitter Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:52 am

    • Not in Monday's lineup
Ramos is not in the lineup for Monday's game versus the Blue Jays.

Advice: Ramos returned from the injured list over the weekend but went 0-for-7 with four strikeouts at the plate. He'll get a day off Monday to regroup, with Danny Mendick filling in at third base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:21 am
