    • Two hits, steal in loss
Mateo went 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Mateo has hit .263 (10-for-38) over 13 games in May, but this was his first multi-hit effort of the season. He's made up for the lack of explosiveness with modest consistency, slashing .260/.301/.468 over 85 plate appearances this season. Mateo has added two home runs, six steals, five RBI, 14 runs scored, eight doubles and a triple. He continues to see most of the playing time at second base, with Jordan Westburg at third and Ramon Urias in a utility role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:22 pm

    • Javier Báez has four hits as Tigers top D’Backs
Javier Báez went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and an RBI on Saturday night as the Tigers triumphed over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The 31-year-old shortstop got the Tigers on the board with a two-out RBI double in the seventh inning that plated Gio Urshela. He was the first of seven straight hitters to reach with two outs in the inning, and he came around to score himself on an RBI knock off the bat of Carson Kelly. He also singled and scored on a sacrifice fly in the eighth. Even with the four-hit night though, he’s still slashing a cringe-inducing .207/.236/.289 with just one homer, 19 RBI and six stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:04 pm
    • Gio Urshela has three hits in victory over D’Backs
Gio Urshela went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and an RBI in a lopsided victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday night in Arizona.

Advice: Urshela started a six-run uprising in the seventh inning with a leadoff double off of Zac Gallen. He scored the team’s first run on an RBI double off the bat of Javier Báez. The 32-year-old infielder then came to bat again later in the inning and delivered an RBI single that increased the Tigers’ lead to 6-2. With his three-hit evening, Urshela is now hitting .290/.300/.348 with zero homers and seven RBI in 71 plate appearances on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:04 pm

    • Dylan Moore has two hits, RBI as M’s top O’s
Dylan Moore went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a run scored as the Mariners topped the Orioles 4-3 on Saturday night at Camden Yards.

Advice: Moore was also hit by a pitch in the contest, reaching base safely in three of his four plate appearances. He smacked a double off of Danny Coulombe in the seventh inning and scored the tying run as Ty France ripped an RBI double into right field. The versatile 31-year-old then plated a run of his own with an RBI double off of Cionel Perez in the eighth that increased the M’s lead to 4-2. With his two-hit night, Moore is now slashing .234/.328/.458 with four homers, 15 RBI and six swipes on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:50 pm

    • Jorge Mateo swipes base in loss to Mariners
Jorge Mateo went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base as the Orioles fell to the Mariners on a rainy Saturday evening in Baltimore.

Advice: Mateo led off the third inning with a double off of Mariners’ right-hander Luis Castillo, then raced around to score on a single off the bat of Ryan O’Hearn. He also singled in the second inning and swiped second base, but the Orioles were unable to cash him in. With his two-hit attack, Mateo is now hitting .260/.301/.468 on the season to go along with a pair of homers, five RBI and six stolen bases in 85 plate appearances. • Sitting Saturday
Paris is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Rangers.

Duran will sit Saturday versus the Angels.

Advice: Duran will head to the bench after going 1-for-12 with a walk and four strikeouts over the last four games. Jonah Heim will slot in at designated hitter while Andrew Knizner enters the lineup behind the plate and bats eighth against Los Angeles. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:28 pm

    • Expected back Tuesday
The Cubs expect to reinstate Swanson (knee) from the injured list Tuesday, Patrick Mooney of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Swanson took live batting practice Friday for the first time since landing on the injured list May 10 with a right knee injury, and he appears to be trending toward a return shortly after the minimum 10 days. He will reclaim his role as Chicago's everyday shortstop once he returns, though the 30-year-old infielder had gone just 1-for-18 with a solo home run in his last six games prior to landing on the IL. • Headed to Triple-A
Peraza (shoulder) was transferred to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to continue his rehab assignment Saturday.

Advice: Peraza went 2-for-16 with two solo home runs, four runs scored and a stolen base over 16 at-bats in five games with Double-A Somerset, and he'll now advance to the final step of his recovery from the shoulder injury he suffered in February. The 23-year-old could return to the Yankees at some point during their four-game series with the Mariners beginning Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:36 am
