    • Mookie Betts plays second for first time in weeks
The Dodgers have Mookie Betts at second base and Miguel Rojas at shortstop in Wednesday’s game against the Mets.

Advice: It’s Betts’ first start at second base in exactly a month, as the Dodgers had been leaving him at shortstop when playing Rojas over Gavin Lux against lefties. This is how they did it in April before making Betts a permanent shortstop in recent weeks. Rotoworld Wednesday, 10:29 am

    • Vidal Bruján out of Monday’s lineup versus Padres
After going 0-for-3 in an increasingly rare start Sunday, Vidal Bruján is out of the lineup for Monday’s game.

Advice: Bruján was the Marlins’ primary second baseman before Tim Anderson got hurt, at which point he switched over to shortstop and Otto López took over at second. Unfortunately for Bruján, López got hot, and now Bruján has lost his spot with Anderson back, even though Anderson is running neck and neck with Andrew Benintendi for the title of baseball’s worst player. So, Bruján, one of the Marlins’ best players to date even if that’s not saying much, has been out of the lineup five times in the last six games. Rotoworld Monday, 1:20 pm

    • Starting at first base Saturday
Dubon is starting at first base and batting ninth for Saturday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: With southpaw JP Sears taking the mound for Oakland on Saturday, the righty-hitting Dubon will make just his fourth career start at first base while Jon Singleton begins the game on the bench. Over 39 games this season, Dubon is slashing .311/.330/.443 with two home runs and 20 RBI across 112 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:18 am

    • Doubles twice in loss
Betts went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a walk in Friday's loss to the Reds.

Advice: Betts led the game off with a single, knocked an RBI double in the second inning and added another double in the fourth. He entered Friday in a small slump, going 4-for-22 (.182) over his previous six contests. Despite the skid, he's hitting .291 through 20 games this month. Betts is slashing .338/.438/.554 with 25 extra-base hits through 240 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:01 pm

    • Moving into reserve role
Brujan is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: After a stretch of 16 consecutive starts, Brujan is on the bench for the second day in a row and appears set to operate as a utility man moving forward. His most recent nine starts came at shortstop, but Tim Anderson returned from the injured list Tuesday and has reclaimed everyday duties at the position. Meanwhile, Brujan looks to have lost out on playing time at second base to Otto Lopez, who has produced an .886 OPS thus far in May while chipping in two home runs and two stolen bases.
