    • Mound work coming soon
Senga (shoulder) is expected to throw a bullpen session Monday or Tuesday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Advice: Senga recently had a setback in his recovery from a right shoulder injury when he experienced some tightness in his triceps. He was shut down for a bit after being given a cortisone injection, but he's almost ready to resume mound work. The expectation is that Senga won't make his season debut until after the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Today, 6:31 am

    • Struggles against Twins
Stroman allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two batters over 4.2 innings in a no-decision against Minnesota on Thursday.

Advice: Stroman was handed a 7-2 lead through four innings but couldn't go deep enough to qualify for the victory. He allowed two doubles and a walk while also hitting a batter in the fifth frame, retiring only two batters before he was pulled. This was a big letdown for Stroman after he notched four consecutive quality starts while posting a 1.01 ERA over his previous 26.2 innings coming into Thursday. He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, which tentatively lines up to take place in Kansas City next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:47 pm
    • Nabs quality start in no-decision
Lopez allowed two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over six innings in a no-decision against Washington on Thursday.

Advice: Lopez held the Nationals scoreless until the sixth inning, when CJ Abrams and Lane Thomas tagged him for back-to-back solo homers. Lopez looked like he could be on the ropes when the following two batters singled, but the right-handed hurler got out of the jam without another run scoring. That allowed him to register his seventh quality start in what has been a career-best campaign. Lopez ranks third among qualified starters with a 1.85 ERA through 63.1 innings on the season. • Stroman allows five in no-decision Thursday
Marcus Stroman allowed five runs in 4 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Yankees’ 8-5 victory over the Twins on Thursday.

Advice: Stroman gave up six hits, walked two and struck out two. He didn’t qualify for the win because he was unable to complete five innings. Stroman’s ERA is 3.16 on the season, but his xFIP is significantly higher at 4.48. He’s never been a big strikeout pitcher and has benefitted from an 82 percent left on base percentage this year. Stroman is certainly due for regression in that area. The 33-year-old right-hander is set to face the Royals at home next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:18 pm
    • Grabs fifth win
Quantrill (5-4) allowed three hits and four walks while striking out one over five scoreless innings to earn the win Thursday over the Cardinals.

Advice: Quantrill was fortunate not to give up any runs after a less-than-sharp outing. He's walked multiple batters in five of his last six starts and nine of his 13 outings overall, including three starts with four or more walks. The right-hander is now at a 3.58 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP and 51:29 K:BB over 73 innings this season. Quantrill is projected to make his next start on the road in Minnesota. • Quantrill throws five shutout innings in win
Cal Quantrill threw five shutout innings and got the win in the Rockies’ 3-2 victory over the Cardinals on Thursday.

Advice: Quantrill gave up three hits, walked four and struck out one. The win was his fifth in 13 starts this year. Quantrill’s ERA is down to 3.58, but he doesn’t miss many bats as his 16 percent strikeout percentage is in the bottom 15 among qualified starters. His 4.42 xFIP is more indicative of the pitcher he’s been this season. The 29-year-old right-hander is set to face the Twins on the road next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:52 pm
    • Lopez allows two in no-decision Thursday
Reynoldo Lopez allowed two runs in six innings and got a no-decision in the Braves’ 5-2 victory over the Nationals on Thursday.

Advice: Lopez gave up six hits, walked one and struck out seven. CJ Abrams and Lane Thomas hit back-to-back home runs off him in the sixth inning. The home runs Lopez allowed were his third and fourth of the season (0.57 HR/9). Only Ranger Suarez and Luis Gil have a lower ERA than Lopez’ 1.85 (min. 50 innings), though his xFIP is significantly higher at 3.71. He has eight quality starts but he’s only won three of his 11 starts this year. The 30-year-old right-hander is set to face the Orioles on the road next week.

    • Grabs five-out save
Miller allowed one run on one hit and one walk with one strikeout over 1.2 innings, earning the save in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Miller was strong, aside from a 102.5 mph pitch that Julio Rodriguez took out of the yard in the ninth inning. This was Miller's first outing since his blown save versus the Rays last Thursday. The flamethrower has been tagged for eight runs (five earned) over his last 7.1 innings, but he has three saves and a blown save in that span. For the season, he's up to 12 saves in 13 chances with a 2.28 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 52:11 K:BB across 27.2 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:34 pm

    • Mason Miller locks down five-out save vs. Mariners
Mason Miller allowed a run over 1 2/3 innings while striking out one to earn the save against the Mariners on Wednesday.

Advice: Miller was asked to preserve the A’s two-run lead in the eighth inning with two runners on and one out. He induced a fly out and a groundout to keep the Mariners scoreless. Miller returned for the ninth and surrendered a solo homer to Julio Rodríguez before locking down his 12th save of the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:02 pm
