      Advice: O'Hearn got a rare start versus lefty Andrew Heaney on Sunday and came through with three base hits when most of the lineup was held in check. Heading into Sunday's game, O'Hearn was just 2-for-15 against southpaws for the season but he got the start with Ryan Mountcastle unable to go due to an illness. He's now reached safely in 13 consecutive games to close out June and is slashing .285/.347/.461 with 10 homers, 34 RBI, 31 runs and a 22:25 BB:K in 251 plate appearances this season.       Advice: Diaz was activated from the injured list after three weeks and returned to serve as the designated hitter while hitting fifth.       De La Cruz went 2-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 loss against Philadelphia.

      Advice: De La Cruz broke out of a mini slump after going 4-for-28 over his last seven games with a nice showing Sunday. His 15 home runs in 82 games this season are just four behind the career high he set last season in 153 games.       Gausman (6-7) suffered the loss Sunday, allowing seven runs on seven hits, five walks and a hit batsman against the Yankees. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Gausman needed 107 pitches to record 13 outs, allowing season highs in runs (seven) and walks (five) while being tagged for three extra-base hits including a first-inning Aaron Judge two-run blast. Gausman did strike out seven batters to represent the fourth time this season he's reached at least seven in an outing, but that's nothing more than a minor silver lining around Sunday's ugly performance. It's the fifth time this season Gausman has allowed at least five runs in a start, and he closes the month of June with a 5.64 ERA over 36.2 innings spanning six starts.       Ezequiel Tovar went 2-for-6 with an RBI against the White Sox on Sunday.

      Advice: Tovar’s RBI single in the 13th inning temporarily gave the Rockies a 4-3 lead in a game Colorado would eventually win 5-4 in 14 innings.       Suarez came away with a no-decision in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Marlins. He allowed six runs on nine hits and two walks over 4.2 innings.

      Advice: Suarez struggled mightily Sunday, allowing a season-high six runs. The left-hander pitched into the fifth inning and did not record a single strikeout, the first time in his career he has had zero strikeouts in a start. He faced 26 batters Sunday, making it the first time a Phillies pitcher has faced at least 26 batters in a game without recording a strikeout since 2017.       Bryan De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored on Sunday against the Phillies.

      Advice: De La Cruz’s 15 home runs are incredibly sneaky. Just four off his career-high 19 he set last year, his 10.9 barrel rate suggest the power outburst is real. De La Cruz has always had tremendous physical tools and is now showing genuine, all-fields power.     • Ranger Suárez hit hard by Marlins
      Ranger Suárez allowed nine hits and six earned runs in just 4 2/3 innings on Sunday against the Marlins. He walked two and didn’t record a strike out.

      Advice: This was undoubtedly Suárez’s worst outing of the season. It was the first time in his career he didn’t strike out a batter out in a game he started as the Marlins were all over him. He especially struggled commanding his sinker and fell behind far more often than he has throughout his strong season. This game doesn’t change anything for Suárez going forward, but it stands as a worthy reminder that Suárez’s effectiveness is deeply rooted in command and a pitcher’s command can be wonky game to game.
