    • Elias Díaz (hand) remains out of Rockies’ lilneup
Elias Díaz (hand) was held out of the Rockies’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s showdown against the Padres.

Advice: The 33-year-old backstop was pulled from Tuesday’s contest due to left hand soreness and it sounds like it’s still bothering him on Wednesday so he’ll get another breather. Jacob Stallings will start in his place on Wednesday and will bat seventh against Michael King and the Padres. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:00 pm

    • Resting against lefty
Marsh is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Advice: With lefty Joey Lucchesi on the bump for the Mets, the lefty-hitting Marsh will head to the bench Wednesday. Cristian Pache replaces him in left field. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:27 pm

    • Justin Turner (illness) available off bench
Justin Turner remains out of the Blue Jays lineup Wednesday due to illness, though he is available off the bench.

Advice: Daniel Vogelbach is getting the start at DH. It’s a third straight missed start for Turner. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:32 am

    • Resting against lefty
O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: The lefty-hitting O'Hearn will take a seat for the series finale while southpaw Yusei Kikuchi takes the hill for Toronto. Adley Rutschman will get a day off behind the plate and will replace O'Hearn as Baltimore's designated hitter. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:07 am

    • Sitting Wednesday with sore hand
Diaz exited Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Padres with left hand soreness and will be held out of the lineup for Wednesday's series finale, MLB.com reports. He struck out in his lone plate appearance on the day.

Advice: Diaz exited in the third inning with recurring hand soreness. He's not expected to miss additional time beyond Wednesday's contest, but Jacob Stallings should be behind the dish for Colorado's series finale Wednesday. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:43 am

    • Remains out Wednesday
Turner (illness) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Baltimore.

Advice: Turner is one of a few Blue Jays players who have been under the weather of late, but he's the only one who will remain on the bench Wednesday. The Blue Jays are off Thursday, so Turner will aim to be back in the lineup Friday versus the Rays. Daniel Vogelbach will step in for Turner on Wednesday as Toronto's designated hitter. • Homers and doubles in win
Tovar went 2-for-5 with a solo homer, a double and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: Tovar doubled to lead off a five-run sixth for the Rockies and then homered to kick off the seventh. He continued his recent hot streak at the plate and now has at least a hit in eight straight games, slashing .343/.361/.686 with two homers, five RBI and five runs scored over that span. The 31.1 strikeout rate is a bit alarming, but Tovar continues to hit toward the top of the lineup and is still making solid contact with a .275 average over 180 plate appearances thus far. • Mashes fifth homer
Olson went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's 7-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: After hitting the ball hard most of the early part of the season with little to show for it, Olson got rewarded for his efforts Tuesday, driving in his first run with a first-inning double that had an exit velocity of 105.2 mph before he belted a three-run bomb off Jameson Taillon in the fourth that left his bat at 108.2 mph. Over the last eight games, Olson is batting .310 (9-for-29) with two of his five homers on the season as he gets back into his 2023 form. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 1:22 am

    • Launches first homer of 2024
Lowe went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder connected on his first long ball of 2024 when he took Nick Pivetta deep in the first inning. Lowe is quickly making up for lost time after missing the first month-plus of the season due to an oblique strain, and in seven games since being activated from the IL he's batting .320 (8-for-25) with four doubles and a homer.
