      Advice: Bogaerts dove for a ball and came up grabbing his shoulder. While there is no immediate information on the extent of the injury, Bogaerts was removed from the game and was in clear pain. It was a play reminiscent of the one that injured Trevor Story earlier in the year. We’ll wait for more information but losing Bogaerts would be a huge issue for a Padres offense that would likely need to play Donovan Solano and Tyler Wade more often.       Elly De La Cruz went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts in a loss to the Dodgers on Sunday.

      Advice: After a tremendous first game of the series, De La Cruz finished the final three games against the Dodgers going 0-for-13 with eight strikeouts. He’s off to an absurd start to the season with 30 stolen bases and nine home runs in 47 games; however, he has started to give back some of his early plate discipline gains. De La Cruz now has 26 strikeouts to just five walks in May while going 14-for-65 at the plate for a .215 average. He’s an electric fantasy player and not somebody you’d ever take out of your lineup, but the 22-year-old remains a work in progress as far as his approach at the plate goes.
