      Luis Rengifo had a two-run homer and an RBI single versus the Astros on Tuesday.

      Advice: Rengifo definitely wasn’t Ron Washington’s favorite player at the beginning of the year, but he’s been one of the best Angels thus far, having hit .316/.366/.474 in 124 plate appearances. Statcast thinks he’s way overachieving, given that his exit velocity numbers are significantly worse than his career marks, but things will probably even out there somewhat; his .840 OPS won’t quite hold up, but his exit velocity numbers should get better.       Harris went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

      Advice: Harris started May in a dreadful 0-for-26 slump, but he's snapped out of it by going 10-for-39 (.256) with two homers, two steals, four RBI and three runs scored over his last 10 contests. The outfielder is slashing .250/.289/.378 with five homers, seven steals, 17 RBI and 19 runs scored through 45 games this season. Harris hit over .290 and flirted with 20-20 years in each of his first two big-league campaigns, so there's still another level he can get back to as he rebounds from his slump. The infielder is slashing .312/.364/.450 with two home runs, 12 RBI, 15 runs scored and 12 thefts through 32 games this season.       Luis Rengifo had two hits and two steals against the Astros on Monday.

      Advice: The second steal saw him jam his left hand into second base, leaving him with an injured middle finger in spite of the oven mitt he was wearing.       Marte was ejected from Monday's game against the Guardians after arguing a called third strike, SportsNet New York reports.

      Carroll went 1-for-4 with a triple, a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Detroit. He was also caught stealing.

      Advice: Carroll tripled to lead off the bottom of the first inning and scored the first of two Arizona runs during the frame. It was the second straight game with a triple for Carroll, who finished second in MLB last season with 10 three-baggers. He was moved back to the leadoff spot seven games ago, but it hasn't done much to break Carroll's season-long slump; he's 4-for-24 with three extra-base hits and five runs since the move and has been caught stealing twice.
