    • Luis Rengifo hits two-run homers against Astros
Luis Rengifo had a two-run homer and an RBI single versus the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Rengifo definitely wasn’t Ron Washington’s favorite player at the beginning of the year, but he’s been one of the best Angels thus far, having hit .316/.366/.474 in 124 plate appearances. Statcast thinks he’s way overachieving, given that his exit velocity numbers are significantly worse than his career marks, but things will probably even out there somewhat; his .840 OPS won’t quite hold up, but his exit velocity numbers should get better. • Homer, steal in extra-inning loss
Harris went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Harris started May in a dreadful 0-for-26 slump, but he's snapped out of it by going 10-for-39 (.256) with two homers, two steals, four RBI and three runs scored over his last 10 contests. The outfielder is slashing .250/.289/.378 with five homers, seven steals, 17 RBI and 19 runs scored through 45 games this season. Harris hit over .290 and flirted with 20-20 years in each of his first two big-league campaigns, so there's still another level he can get back to as he rebounds from his slump. • Lars Nootbaar ejected from Tuesday’s game
Lars Nootbaar was ejected from Tuesday’s game against the Orioles for arguing balls and strikes.

Advice: Nootbaar didn’t agree with a called third strike in his first-inning at-bat and was tossed from the contest after returning to the dugout and continuing to voice his displeasure. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:00 pm
    • Two steals in win
Rengifo went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases in Monday's 9-7 win over the Astros.

Advice: Rengifo has gone 4-for-18 with three steals, one RBI and two extra-base hits over four contests since he returned from an illness. The infielder is slashing .312/.364/.450 with two home runs, 12 RBI, 15 runs scored and 12 thefts through 32 games this season. Rengifo's running far more this season, and his defensive utility gives him some extra upside in fantasy even if it's unlikely he maintains his steady hitting. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:30 pm

    • Luis Rengifo swipes two bags against Astros
Luis Rengifo had two hits and two steals against the Astros on Monday.

Advice: The second steal saw him jam his left hand into second base, leaving him with an injured middle finger in spite of the oven mitt he was wearing. He was in a lot of pain at first, but he was able to finish the game afterwards. Still, if he’s not in Tuesday’s lineup, this is probably the reason. Rotoworld Monday, 8:24 pm

    • Ejected from series opener
Marte was ejected from Monday's game against the Guardians after arguing a called third strike, SportsNet New York reports.

Advice: Marte didn't agree with a called strike three to end the top half of the fourth inning, and he was ejected while walking out to his position in the bottom half of the frame. Tyrone Taylor replaced Marte in right field. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:38 pm
    • Starling Marte tossed for arguing third strike
Starling Marte was ejected from Monday’s game in the fourth inning for arguing balls and strikes.

Advice: Marte couldn’t let it go after being (correctly) called out to end the top of the fourth and was tossed as he was beginning to walk out to right field for the bottom of the inning. Tyrone Taylor replaced him versus the Guardians. Rotoworld Monday, 4:08 pm
    • Returns to lineup Monday
Martinez (illness) will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in Monday's game in Cleveland.

Advice: Martinez sat out Sunday's contest due to flu-like symptoms but is feeling well enough to give it a go in this one. The veteran DH has slashed .315/.359/.466 with two home runs in 21 games to begin his tenure with the Mets. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:35 pm
    • Triples in two straight
Carroll went 1-for-4 with a triple, a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Detroit. He was also caught stealing.

Advice: Carroll tripled to lead off the bottom of the first inning and scored the first of two Arizona runs during the frame. It was the second straight game with a triple for Carroll, who finished second in MLB last season with 10 three-baggers. He was moved back to the leadoff spot seven games ago, but it hasn't done much to break Carroll's season-long slump; he's 4-for-24 with three extra-base hits and five runs since the move and has been caught stealing twice.
