      Advice: Turner has ramped up his workouts over the last week and has not reported any soreness in his left hamstring. The Phillies have been encouraged by Turner's progress, but they insist he won't be rushed and have not offered an amendment of the shortstop's initial six-week timetable.       Clase earned a save against the Mets on Monday, retiring all three batters he faced in the ninth inning.

      Advice: Clase inherited a two-run lead when he entered in the ninth frame and made quick work of New York, needing just 12 pitches to set down the side in order. The right-hander has yielded just one earned run all season, giving him a sparkling 0.37 ERA through 24.1 frames.       Gurriel went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Dodgers.

      Advice: Gurriel snapped a 26-game homer drought with his eighth-inning blast. The outfielder has gone 11-for-45 (.244) over his last 12 contests, adding just five RBI and five runs scored in that span. He's at a .236/.284/.385 slash line with six homers, 27 RBI, 24 runs scored and two stolen bases over 44 contests this season.       Emmanuel Clase tossed a perfect ninth inning on Monday against the Mets to record his league-leading 14th save of the season.

      Advice: Clase was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and needed just 12 pitches (seven strikes) to end the contest. The 26-year-old elite stopper has converted a major league-leading 14 of 17 save opportunities to go along with a microscopic 0.37 ERA, 0.58 WHIP and 24/2 K/BB ratio across 24 1/3 innings (25 appearances).
