    Advice: Paxton continues to excel in his Los Angeles debut, reeling off six scoreless frames to stun the division-rival Padres at Petco Park. He finished with four strikeouts, didn’t hand out a free pass, and allowed just six batted balls with an exit velocity in excess of 95 mph. The 35-year-old veteran southpaw has managed to stay healthy so far, and has been an impact fantasy contributor, despite a steep decline in strikeout percentage. He’s overdue for some regression in the run-prevention department, but he’s been effective so far.     Matt Waldron was charged with two runs over 5 1/3 innings on Saturday in a loss to the Dodgers.

    Advice: Waldron managed to limit Los Angeles’ formidable lineup to just one run into the sixth inning, but San Diego’s offense was unable to provide him with any run support at all in this one. It was a much-needed bounce-back effort after being torched for eight runs (seven earned) by the Diamondbacks his last time out.     Advice: McMahon served as Colorado’s primary offensive catalyst in this one, kicking off a six-run outburst in the seventh inning with an RBI single off Rangers reliever David Robertson. The 29-year-old corner infielder has been a steady, yet unspectacular, fantasy contributor for a couple seasons now.     Ryan Feltner gave up two runs over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Rangers.

    Advice: Feltner notched four strikeouts and only issued a pair of walks. He managed to navigate through Texas’ loaded lineup without incident until the fifth inning when Marcus Semien delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly and Nathaniel Lowe followed with an RBI single a couple batters later. The 27-year-old righty holds a lackluster 5.20 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 40/12 K/BB ratio across 45 innings (eight starts).     Advice: Heaney drew a tough starting assignment on the road at high-octane Coors Field, but managed to limit Colorado’s lineup to just a pair of runs on eight hits over five frames. He induced a whopping 17 swinging strikes and finished with a near-elite 36 percent CSW. The 32-year-old lefty has settled into a groove his last few times out, allowing two earned runs or fewer in three consecutive outings since May 1.     Rhys Hoskins connected for a go-ahead three-run homer on Saturday, lifting the Brewers to a 5-3 comeback win over the Cardinals.

    Advice: Hoskins lifted a 407-foot shot to right-center field — his ninth big fly of the season — off Cardinals veteran reliever Andrew Kittredge in the seventh inning to put Milwaukee ahead for good in a low-scoring showdown.     Advice: Yikes. Goldschmidt was unable to really get anything going in his return to St. Louis’ lineup after receiving a couple days off to mentally reset and work on his swing. The 36-year-old veteran first baseman, who was the National League’s MVP Award winner just two seasons ago, is off to the worst start of his career, batting .190 (27-for-142) with two homers, 11 RBI and one steal through 37 contests.     Trevor Megill managed to hang on Saturday against the Cardinals for his fourth save of the season.

    Advice: Megill made things interesting by surrendering a pair of two-out singles, which put the potential tying runs on-base, but managed to retire Nolan Arenado on a line drive to left field to extinguish the threat. The 30-year-old righty has reeled off six consecutive scoreless appearances since April 19 and looks like the favorite for saves in Milwaukee until All-Star stopper Devin Williams is ready to return around midseason.
