• Gavin Sheets homers, scores three runs in win
Gavin Sheets homered, walked twice and scored three runs Friday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Major league players had scored three runs in a game 159 times this season coming into the night, but this is the first time a White Sox player had done so. It’s also the first time Sheets has reached the mark in his 354 career games. It actually puts him at exactly 100 runs scored for his career. He’s been perfectly solid in hitting .235/.341/.417 for the White Sox. It’s just a mistake to ever ask him to play the outfield, something that will again become an issue once Eloy Jiménez gets healthy. Rotoworld Today, 8:30 pm

  • Dylan Carlson plates three in win for Cardinals
Dylan Carlson went 2-for-4 with three RBI in an 8-5 win for St. Louis over the Rockies.

Advice: Carlson singled home a run in the sixth, and that tied the game at 5-5. The outfielder gave the Cardinals an 8-5 lead two innings latter with a two-run double, and that’s the first two-bagger of the season for the 25-year-old. Carlson once looked like a potential fantasy stalwart, but injuries and inconsistent play have left him as a player that should be left on the waiver wire in the overwhelming majority of leagues. • Toglia gets Little League grand slam against STL
Michael Toglia hit a three-run triple in a loss Friday to the Cardinals.

Advice: Ah, the ole Little League grand slam. Toglia tripled with the bases loaded and came around to score on a Nolan Gorman error. The 25-year-old has shown some pop with a .407 slugging mark, but his .148 average and .179 on-base mark answer any questions about whether he’s worthy of fantasy consideration. • Swats two homers
Flores went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in Friday's win over Texas.

Advice: Flores opened the game's scoring with a solo blast in the second inning before going deep again in the fourth. He's knocked three home runs while driving in seven runs over his last two games. Before that, he was stuck in a 21-game homerless drought, during which he produced a .490 OPS. Flores is now slashing .224/.298/.353 with four home runs and 21 RBI through 52 appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:59 pm

  • Rodgers leaves vs. Cards with apparent injury
Brendan Rodgers left Friday’s game with an apparent injury against the Cardinals.

Advice: Rodgers was limping to first base and exited slowly. The Rockies should provide an injury update on the 27-year-old before the end of Friday’s contest. Alan Trejo has replaced Rodgers. Rotoworld Today, 6:52 pm

  • Exits due to injury
Rodgers was removed from Friday's game against the Cardinals due to an apparent lower-body injury, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: Rodgers came up limping after running to first base during the fourth inning of Friday's game and had to be replaced on the basepaths by Alan Trejo. It isn't immediately clear what is causing Rodgers trouble, but the Rockies will evaluate him in their clubhouse and should provide some more information shortly. Rotowire.com Today, 6:33 pm

  • Not starting Thursday
Campusano isn't in the Padres' lineup Thursday versus Arizona, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Prior to going 1-for-3 versus the Angels on Wednesday, Campusano had gone hitless across 30 plate appearances in a 10-game span. With the 25-year-old out of the lineup Thursday, Kyle Higashioka will start behind the dish and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:01 pm
  • Resting Thursday
Colas isn't in the White Sox's lineup for Thursday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Colas registered his first hit in the majors this season during Wednesday's loss to the Cubs, and he'll now take a seat for Thursday's series opener versus Boston. Zach DeLoach, Duke Ellis and Gavin Sheets will start across the White Sox's outfield with Luis Robert in as the DH. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:36 pm

  • Back in majors
The Rockies recalled Toglia from Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday

Advice: With Kris Bryant (ribs) and Sean Bouchard (foot) headed to the injured list, the Rockies will call upon Toglia to add depth to their depleted outfield group. The 25-year-old owns a .505 OPS through 49 plate appearances in the big leagues this season, but he's slashed .277/.363/.571 with nine homers and 27 RBI since being sent down to Triple-A in late April.
