      Advice: It’s pretty remarkable that the Reds finished with 11 runs in this one considering they put three straight zeroes on the scoreboard to open the contest before Steer finally got Cincinnati on the board with a two-run double in the fourth inning.       José Ramírez went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI on Monday, powering the Guardians to a 3-2 victory over the Orioles.

      Advice: Ramírez kicked off the scoring during Monday’s series opener at Camden Yards with a run-scoring single in the opening before delivering a go-ahead solo shot -- his 20th round-tripper of the season -- off Orioles rookie southpaw Cade Povich in the sixth inning. The 31-year-old fantasy stalwart has been the model of consistency for nearly a decade at this point and has shown zero signs of slowing down at all. He’s been on a roll over the last few weeks, batting .317 (38-for-120) with 11 homers and eight steals over his last 30 games.       De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Red Sox on Saturday.

      Advice: De La Cruz gave Cincinnati a 3-0 lead with his third-inning solo shot, but that turned out to be the final run the Reds scored in the game. The star shortstop came into the contest 0-for-10 with five strikeouts over his previous three contests, so the three-hit effort was a nice way to get back on track.
