    • Checking out of lineup Sunday
Fry is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Fry will receive a breather in the series finale after he had started in four of the Guardians' last five contests. With Fry on the bench, the Guardians will open up the designated-hitter spot for Jose Ramirez, who will cede third base to Angel Martinez. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:01 am

    • Homers again
Steer went 1-for-3 with a home run and an additional run in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Steer homered for a third straight game when he launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. He's up to 13 home runs and a team-high 57 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:02 am

    • Delivers two more runs
Walker went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Padres.

Advice: Walker provided the game-winning knock with a two-run single in the top of the 10th inning. The scorching hot Walker is 15-for-30 with five home runs over the last seven contests and has knocked in 13 runners over the last six. The surge leaves him with 22 home runs (tied for sixth in MLB) and 64 RBI (seventh in the league). Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:06 am
    • Christian Walker delivers go-ahead hit vs. Padres
Christian Walker went 2-for-5 with a go-ahead two-run single in the 10th inning on Saturday in the Diamondbacks’ extra-inning victory over the Padres.

Advice: Walker put Arizona ahead in the 10th inning with a two-run single off Padres reliever Wandy Peralta. The 33-year-old veteran first baseman has homered five times since June 2 and is batting an absurd .500 (15-for-30) with five round-trippers and 13 RBI over his last seven contests. Simply put, he’s one of the hottest hitters in baseball at the moment. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:34 am
    • Let down by bullpen in superb start
Greene pitched seven scoreless innings in a no-decision against Detroit on Saturday. He allowed three hits and issued two walks while striking out seven batters.

Advice: Greene was on his game Saturday, racking up 15 swinging strikes while holding the Tigers without an extra-base hit. He departed with a 2-0 lead but had to settle for a no-decision as a result of the Reds' bullpen allowing five runs in the eighth frame. Though he wasn't able to nab the win, Greene collected his seventh quality start of the season and lowered his ERA to 3.45. The seven punchouts gives him 116 on the campaign, tied for 11th-most in the majors. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:00 pm

    • Takes third loss
Suarez (10-3) allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings to take the loss versus Atlanta on Saturday.

Advice: Only three Atlanta batters got hits in the contest, but they each had two against Suarez. Ozzie Albies and Marcell Ozuna both homered and combined to drive in all five runs. Suarez has allowed 15 runs (13 earned) across 15.2 innings over his last three starts, accounting for three of the four times he's given up at least four runs this year. He's at a 2.58 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 106:23 K:BB through 108 innings over 18 starts. Suarez will look to end his early-summer swoon in a favorable home start versus the Athletics next week. • Short start versus Marlins
Crochet allowed two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five over four innings in a no-decision versus the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Crochet failed to complete five innings for the first time since April 24. He wasn't efficient Saturday, requiring 93 pitches (65 strikes) to get through his four frames, though he did a decent job of limiting the damage. It's a rare misstep for the southpaw, who is now at a 3.08 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 146:23 K:BB over 105.1 innings through 19 starts this season. Crochet is projected to make his next start at home versus the Pirates. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:58 pm

    • Homers in win over Giants
Kwan went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Giants.

Advice: Kwan has gone deep in two of his last three games, and he's hit five homers over his last 17 contests while batting .294 (20-for-68) in that span. While he's cooled off from flirting with a .400 batting average in mid-to-late June, he continues to impress with his consistency at the plate. The outfielder has a .365/.421/.542 slash line for the year to go along with nine homers, 27 RBI, 52 runs scored and four stolen bases over 61 contests. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:54 pm

    • Ranger Suárez struggles in loss to Braves Saturday
Ranger Suárez had his second straight rough outing in Saturday’s loss to the Braves, surrendering five runs on six hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 28-year-old southpaw racked up seven strikeouts on the night while issuing a pair of free passes. Most of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Marcell Ozuna clubbing a two-run homer to cap off a three-run first inning and Ozzie Albies smacking a two-run homer in the fifth. Suárez got 13 swings and misses on 91 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 27 percent. This was the third straight rough start for Suárez who has seen his impeccable 1.75 ERA swell to 2.58. He’ll look to get back on track and finish the first half strong when he takes on the Athletics at home on Friday. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:24 pm
