• Remains in game after injury
India suffered a left shin injury during Tuesday's win over the Padres but remained in game, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. He went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.

Advice: India was hurt when he got tangled up with San Diego catcher Luis Campusano while scoring on a sacrifice fly to left. India was noticeably grabbing the shin and limped off the field but was able to finish the game. It is presumed he will be able to play Wednesday, but the Reds will likely wait to see how the shin responds overnight. Rotowire.com 5 minutes ago
  • Swats homer in defeat
Pillar went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Astros.

Advice: Pillar took Bryan Abreu deep in the seventh to put the Angels back up 5-4 and extend his hitting streak to eight games. He's been on an absolute tear since signing with the Angels on April 30. In the month of May, Pillar is slashing .426/.460/.766 with four homers, 17 RBI, 12 runs and a 2:9 BB:K through 14 games. Prior to his release from the White Sox on April 26, the 35-year-old was slashing just .160/.290/.360 with a homer, four RBI, a run scored and a 4:8 BB:K through 17 games. Rotowire.com 7 minutes ago
  • Goes deep in win
Walker went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Walker led off the top of the sixth inning with a solo homer. The blast was Walker's ninth and tied him for the team lead with Ketel Marte. May has not been kind to Walker, who is batting .194 with a .606 OPS through 18 games, but he continues to lead the Diamondbacks with 31 RBI. Rotowire.com 22 minutes ago
  • Clubs insurance homer
Pederson went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: A half inning after the Dodgers crept within a run in the bottom of the sixth, Pederson connected on a slider for a three-run home run to give the Diamondbacks breathing room. It was the sixth homer of the season for Pederson, who also picked up his 500th career RBI with the blast (501 RBI over 11 MLB seasons). Pederson has delivered at least one run in four consecutive games (seven RBI total) and is up to 16 through 42 games. Rotowire.com 33 minutes ago
  • Ryne Nelson won’t start Wednesday for D-backs
The Diamondbacks will likely bypass Ryne Nelson and go with an opener in Wednesday’s game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Nelson was lit up for seven runs by the Tigers last time out, putting his spot in jeopardy, but when everything was quiet over the last few days, it seemed likely that he’d remain in the rotation. Instead, the Diamondbacks could either send him down or put him in the bullpen prior to Wednesday’s game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:46 pm

  • Joc Pederson puts Dodgers away with homer
Joc Pederson went 2-for-5 and hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning Tuesday as the Diamondbacks defeated the Dodgers 7-3.

Advice: Arizona was up 4-3 when Pederson homered off Michael Grove to put the game away. It was Pederson’s sixth homer. He hasn’t been a huge fantasy factor while sitting against lefties and stealing one base to date, but his .321/.418/.571 line is extremely impressive. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:43 pm
  • Brandon Pfaadt picks up big win over Dodgers
Brandon Pfaadt yielded three runs — two earned — over six innings and struck out seven in a victory over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: Pfaadt, who has had some hard luck with the Diamondbacks struggling to put runs on the board, won for the first time since his season-opening start against the Rockies on March 31. This is his sixth quality start, which doesn’t count that initial win; he allowed one run over five innings in that one. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:43 pm
  • Gavin Stone charged with four runs in loss
Gavin Stone lost to the Diamondbacks after allowing four runs in six innings on Tuesday.

Advice: Stone came up a little short of delivering a fifth straight quality start and took his first loss since April 7. He gave up eight hits, walked one and struck out five in falling to 4-2 with a 3.60 ERA. Stone might get a two-start week against the Mets and Rockies next week, which would make him a great play in shallow leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:43 pm

  • Teoscar Hernández goes 0-for-4 in loss to Arizona
Teoscar Hernández finished 0-for-4 in the loss to the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Advice: Hernández got a visit from the trainer after hurting his ankle while fielding a single in the second inning tonight, but he was able to finish the game without incident. His average dropped to .242 tonight, as he’s gone 7-for-39 with 13 strikeouts in his last 10 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:43 pm
