    • Contributes grand slam in victory
Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and a triple in Saturday's 7-5 win against Cincinnati.

Advice: The Cubs fell behind by four runs early but tied the game with one stroke of the bat on Suzuki's second-inning grand slam. It was his first career grand slam and sixth homer of the campaign. Suzuki has hit safely in nine straight games and is batting .324 (12-for-37) with two homers, seven RBI and a stolen base during that span. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:26 pm
    • Belts 19th long ball
Tucker went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk in a 5-2 win against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Tucker hit one of four homers against Minnesota starter Joe Ryan with a solo shot in the third inning. It was the 19th long ball of the campaign for the outfielder, second in the majors behind Aaron Judge (21). Tucker is easily on pace to surpass the career-best mark of 30 homers he established in both 2021 and 2022. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:32 pm

    • Suzuki hits triple, grand slam in win Saturday
Seiya Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a triple and a grand slam against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Suzuki’s home run was his sixth of the season and second in the last three games. He seems to be completely over the oblique injury he dealt with earlier this season. Suzuki is 12-for-37 (.324) with two home runs and seven RBI over his last nine games.

    • Kyle Tucker homers and walks against Twins
Kyle Tucker homered and walked in a victory for the Astros over the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Tucker also drew a walk. The 27-year-old is already up to 19 homers on the season with a .976 OPS to pair with them. Even with the Astros having a disappointing 2024 campaign, Tucker has been as good as he’s ever been over the first two-plus months of the campaign. Rotoworld Saturday, 5:03 pm

    • Suzuki hits pinch hit home run Thursday
Seiya Suzuki went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run against the Brewers on Thursday.

Advice: The home run was Suzuki’s fifth of the season. He pinch hit in the seventh inning a homered off left-handed reliever Bryan Hudson. It was just the second home run for Suzuki since coming off the injured list on May 11th. He seems to be over the injury as he’s now on a seven-game hitting streak. Rotoworld Thursday, 1:22 pm
    • Absent from Thursday's lineup
Suzuki is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Brewers, Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: The Cubs will go with Mike Tauchman in right field, Cody Bellinger at designated hitter and Pete Crow-Armstrong in center field as they try to salvage a series split. Though his power hasn't shown up yet this season, Suzuki enters Thursday's game with a modest six-game hit streak, going 8-for-27 over that span. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:29 am
    • Seiya Suzuki on the bench on Thursday
Seiya Suzuki is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Brewers.

Advice: Pete Crow-Armstrong, who was just promoted from Triple-A, will start in center field with Cody Bellinger moving to designated hitter and Mike Tauchman to right field. It could simply be a routine day off for Suzuki. Still, it’s noteworthy that the Cubs called up Crow-Armstrong today while demoting an infielder, thereby adding another outfielder to an already full position group. Suzuki has struggled in May, slashing .209/.260/.269 in 16 games while dealing with an injury. However, he has struggled early in the season in years past and is striking out just 19 percent of the time in May, so he is continuing to make contact. It should only be a matter of time before he gets it going again. Rotoworld Thursday, 8:26 am
    • Posts steal
Suzuki went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 10-6 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Suzuki has gone 8-for-27 (.296) during his six-game hitting streak, though he hasn't posted an extra-base hit since May 15. The outfielder's steal Wednesday was his second of the campaign. He's slashing .254/.312/.389 with four home runs, 16 RBI, 19 runs scored and five doubles over 31 contests. Suzuki isn't having a poor year by any means, especially when factoring in his four-week absence with an oblique injury, but he's also not standing out in any particular area. • Smacks 18th homer
Tucker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk Sunday against the Athletics.

Advice: The Astros scored all five of their runs in the fourth inning, and Tucker delivered the final blow with his 18th homer of the season. He's gone yard 11 times across 23 games in May, good for a 1.127 OPS. Rotowire.com May 27, 12:18 am
