    • Tyler O’Neill (knee) out of the lineup on Monday
Tyler O’Neill (knee) remains out of the lineup on Monday against the Orioles.

Advice: O’Neill exited Saturday’s game against the Brewers with right knee soreness and has now missed two straight games. The Red Sox haven’t expressed any concern and perhaps a few days off is just what the 28-year-old needs. O’Neill has struggled since missing a little over a week with concussion symptoms after a collision with Rafael Devers in left field. In 111 plate appearances since then, O’Neill is slashing .200/.279/.380 with four home runs, nine RBI, and a 40.5 percent strikeout rate. It’s hard to know which of these ailments is impacting him the most, but he’s clearly not fully healthy right now. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago

    • Andrew Vaughn hitting clean-up on Monday
Andrew Vaughn will bat clean-up for the White Sox on Monday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Vaughn has moved all around the lineup but has usually hit second or third in the order. With both Luis Robert Jr. and Eloy Jimenez out, the White Sox are looking for anybody to fill the middle of the order. While Vaughn’s average hasn’t been great this year, he does have four home runs and a .400 slugging percentage in May which is an upgrade from April where he had no home runs and just a .238 slugging percentage. Obviously, there’s still a long way to go, but it’s nice to see Vaughn taking slow steps in the right direction. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

    • Wilyer Abreu sits versus LHP on Monday
Wilyer Abreu will head to the bench on Monday with the Red Sox facing a left-handed pitcher.

Advice: Rob Refsnyder will start in his place and bat second. The Red Sox also chose to sit David Hamilton with Cole Irvin on the mound, and Romy Gonzalez will play shortstop. The Red Sox will only face one more left-handed starter this week, so fantasy managers with Abreu on their team should feel good about playing him in weekly lineup lock leagues. • Not in Monday's lineup
Hays is absent from the lineup for Monday's contest against the Red Sox.

Advice: Hays appears to be over his lingering left calf injury, but he's now started just three of the last seven games for the Orioles. Colton Cowser will be in left field while Cedric Mullins plays center. Rotowire.com 39 minutes ago

    • Kyle Isbel remains out of the lineup on Monday
Kyle Isbel (face) is not in the Royals lineup on Monday.

Advice: Isbel fouled a ball off his face in Saturday’s game and has now missed two straight games. There’s no indication that he’ll be out for an extended period of time, but he’s also just 11-for-52 (.212) in 17 games in May. Dairon Blanco will start in his place on Monday, and if the Royals ever decided to give Blanco regular playing time over Isbel, his speed would be a major difference-maker in fantasy leagues. • Braves active Sean Murphy from IL
Braves activated Sean Murphy (oblique) from IL

Advice: It’s been a long wait, but Murphy is back. The veteran catcher played just one game for the Braves this season before injuring his oblique. He’s been hitting the ball well on his rehab assignment and throwing out baserunners, which shows his readiness to step back behind the dish. With Travis d’Arnaud playing well while Murphy was out, it’s likely that the Braves use a timeshare at catcher for the next few weeks, so fantasy managers who have d’Arnaud can maybe hold on a bit longer. That’s especially true given the injury to Ronald Acuna Jr. could mean Marcell Ozuna plays some outfield and d’Arnaud or Murphy could DH on occasion. Rotoworld 46 minutes ago

    • Braves waive INF Joey Wendle
Braves designated INF Joey Wendle for assignment.

Advice: Wendle was just signed on Friday, but the Braves needed to make room on the active roster with Sean Murphy coming off the IL. The 34-year-old Wendle has struggled for two years now but can play multiple positions on the infield and could get a shot with another team soon. Rotoworld 50 minutes ago

    • Re-starts rehab assignment
Smith (shoulder) resumed a rehab assignment with Single-A Brooklyn on Sunday, tossing a scoreless inning, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Advice: Smith was close to being activated earlier this month before experiencing a setback. He's back on the comeback trail now, though, and is expected to return in about a week after making a couple more rehab appearances. Rotowire.com 51 minutes ago

    • Braves call up J.P. Martinez to replace Acuña Jr.
Braves recalled OF J.P. Martinez from Triple-A Gwinnett.

Advice: Martinez will take the spot on the active roster previously held by Ronald Acuña Jr., who is out for the year with a torn ACL. Martinez will likely be up as the fourth outfielder in Atlanta with Adam Duvall taking on a larger chunk of playing time. The 28-year-old Martinez is a good defender and has elite speed with 14 steals in 45 games at Triple-A this season and 38 games in 77 Triple-A games for the Rangers last year. If Martinez ever earns consistent playing time, his speed could be an asset in deeper formats. Rotoworld 52 minutes ago
