    • Helsley records 14th save Monday
Ryan Helsley picked up his 14th save of the season against the Orioles on Monday.

Advice: Helsley pitched another scoreless ninth inning, which was his 15th consecutive appearance without allowing an earned run. He walked Austin Hays with two outs before getting Cedric Mullens to fly out to end the game. Helsley last allowed an earned run on April 8th. Since then he has converted 11 saves and finished 14 games. Rotoworld 52 minutes ago

    • Henderson blasts 16th home run Monday
Gunnar Henderson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Cardinals on Monday.

Advice: Henderson accounted for all the Orioles’ runs on the night. He blasted his league-leading 16th home run in the sixth inning off Sonny Gray, who hadn’t allowed a single hit at that point in the game. The 22-year-old is up to .271 with a .961 OPS and 34 RBI on the season. Rotoworld 58 minutes ago

    • Gray appears to ask out of game Monday
Sonny Gray allowed one earned run, struck out six in 5 2/3 innings, picked up the win and appeared to ask Cardinals manager Oli Marmol to remove him from the game in the Cardinals 6-3 victory over the Orioles on Monday.

Advice: We’ll have another update on Gray’s status when we know more. The win was Gray’s sixth of the season. He cruised through the first five innings. In the sixth inning, after two men reached on an errors, he allowed a three-run home run to Gunnar Henderson. Four batters later, he appeared to ask out of the game and was removed for JoJo Romero, who escaped the jam. The 34-year-old right-hander is tentatively scheduled to face the Cubs at home on Saturday.

    • Emmanuel Clase lowers ERA to 0.37 on Monday
Emmanuel Clase tossed a perfect ninth inning on Monday against the Mets to record his league-leading 14th save of the season.

Advice: Clase was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and needed just 12 pitches (seven strikes) to end the contest. The 26-year-old elite stopper has converted a major league-leading 14 of 17 save opportunities to go along with a microscopic 0.37 ERA, 0.58 WHIP and 24/2 K/BB ratio across 24 1/3 innings (25 appearances). He hasn’t allowed an earned run since April 14. Rotoworld Today, 6:03 pm
    • Back at DH on Monday
Santander (knee) is batting fifth as the designated hitter Monday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Santander aggravated his bruised knee Saturday against the Mariners and was held out of the lineup Sunday, but he's been cleared to bat in the series opener at St. Louis. The 29-year-old said Sunday that running in the outfield has been a bit problematic, so he could continue to serve as Baltimore's DH for the next few days as he completes his recovery. • Wins after blown save
Clase (3-1) allowed an unearned run and struck out one batter in one inning of work Sunday against the Twins. He was charged with a blown save but earned the win.

Advice: Clase gave up the game-tying run on an error in the ninth inning, but Cleveland walked it off in the bottom half of the frame. It was his first blown save since April 16, and he's now 13 for 16 in save chances this season. He's fired 16.1 straight innings without allowing an earned run, dropping his season ERA to 0.39 with a 24:2 K:BB. Rotowire.com Today, 7:03 am
    • Triples in two straight
Carroll went 1-for-4 with a triple, a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Detroit. He was also caught stealing.

Advice: Carroll tripled to lead off the bottom of the first inning and scored the first of two Arizona runs during the frame. It was the second straight game with a triple for Carroll, who finished second in MLB last season with 10 three-baggers. He was moved back to the leadoff spot seven games ago, but it hasn't done much to break Carroll's season-long slump; he's 4-for-24 with three extra-base hits and five runs since the move and has been caught stealing twice. • Two hits, steal in win
Mullins went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: This was Mullins' first multi-hit game since April 21. Over the 19 contests in between, he went a poor 6-for-63 (.095) with two steals and three RBI. Mullins has started to lose playing time, with Colton Cowser being the main beneficiary in center field. For the season, Mullins is slashing just .194/.241/.351 with seven steals, six home runs, 20 RBI, 17 runs scored and three doubles over 145 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:31 pm

    • Keeps mashing Sunday
Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Henderson is on a tear with five homers and seven RBI over his last nine games. His blast Sunday was another leadoff homer against Mariners starter George Kirby. Henderson is leading the majors with 15 long balls to go with seven steals, 31 RBI, 34 runs scored, four doubles, four triples and a .270/.348/.598 slash line over 44 contests. His steal Sunday was his first since April 27. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:25 pm
