    • Heading to bench Sunday
Greene is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Greene is in the midst of a 2-for-22 slump and will sit Sunday after making nine straight starts. Mark Canha will shift to left field while Carson Kelly receives a turn at designated hitter. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:35 am

    • Upping workouts
Trout (knee) has been working out on the elliptical and exercise bike and will next progress to the treadmill, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Trout has not done any baseball activities yet, but his rehab from left knee surgery in early May is progressing on schedule. It figures to be a while before a timetable comes into focus, but a return before the All-Star break seems unlikely at this stage. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:39 pm

    • Could return in early June
Robert (hip) could rejoin the White Sox early in June following a full week of rehab games with Triple-A Charlotte, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Robert has played one rehab game with the Arizona Complex League White Sox, homering in that contest. He's slated to join Charlotte on Tuesday to continue ramping things up, and it sounds like he could be activated by the White Sox as soon as June 4 against the Cubs. Robert has been sidelined since early April with a Grade 2 right hip flexor strain. Rotowire.com Friday, 6:37 am

    • Luis Robert (hip) heading to Triple-A on Tuesday
Luis Robert (hip) will start a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Charlotte.

Advice: Finally some good news for Chicago as their star outfielder will wrap up play in Arizona this week before heading out to face some higher minor-league competition next week. There isn’t an exact timetable for Robert to return, but he figures to rejoin the White Sox’ struggling lineup at some point in early June. Rotoworld Thursday, 3:05 pm

    • Beginning assignment Tuesday
Robert (hip) will begin playing in rehab games at Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Advice: Manager Pedro Grifol didn't specify exactly how long Robert will be in the minors, saying it will be a matter of getting him enough at-bats to get his timing down. The 26-year-old outfielder is currently playing in complex-league games in Arizona and seems to be trending toward a return in early June. Rotowire.com Thursday, 2:55 pm

    • Not in Wednesday's lineup
Pillar is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Houston, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Pillar hit a home run in Tuesday's loss to the Astros and has been scorching hot since joining the Angels, putting up a 1.226 OPS with four long balls and four stolen bases. He's still not quite being treated like an everyday player, however, as he's now been out of the lineup three of the last four times the Halos have faced a righty. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:38 am

    • Swats homer in defeat
Pillar went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Astros.

Advice: Pillar took Bryan Abreu deep in the seventh to put the Angels back up 5-4 and extend his hitting streak to eight games. He's been on an absolute tear since signing with the Angels on April 30. In the month of May, Pillar is slashing .426/.460/.766 with four homers, 17 RBI, 12 runs and a 2:9 BB:K through 14 games. Prior to his release from the White Sox on April 26, the 35-year-old was slashing just .160/.290/.360 with a homer, four RBI, a run scored and a 4:8 BB:K through 17 games.
