      Advice: The White Sox releasing Pillar after a 4-for-25 start, only to watch him hit .431/.459/.759 with five homers in his first 17 games for the Angels, is undeniably the funniest thing to happen in 2024.       Advice: Fry has a pair of three-hits games over his last nine contests, going 13-for-26 (.500) with four homers, three steals and 11 RBI in that span. The utility man is on another level lately, though he's been strong throughout the campaign with a .357/.492/.622 slash line, seven homers, 23 RBI, 26 runs scored and four steals over 128 plate appearances. He's started three straight games in left field, but that avenue into the lineup will close when Steven Kwan (hamstring) returns from the injured list.       Advice: Fry wasn’t expected to make the Guardians out of spring training and then wasn’t slated to play against righties once he did make the team, but all he’s done so far is hit .357/.492/.622 with seven homers and four steals in 128 plate appearances.       Advice: Schwarber put the Phillies on the board in the third inning with a two-run shot off reigning NL Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell. It was his fourth homer against a lefty this season, and he's now batting a lofty .333 (27-for-71) against southpaw hurlers.       Advice: The home run was Schwarber’s 10th of the season and the stolen base was his third. He’s been heating up lately as he’s 10-for-25 (.385) over his last seven games. The home run was Schwarber’s first since May 6th. His power has been down this season, but he’s been known to hit home runs in bunches. Maybe this could be the start of a hot streak for Schwarber.

      Advice: Verdugo ripped a leadoff homer off Robert Suarez in the ninth to bring the Yankees within three and extend his hitting streak to eight games. He's been locked in over the second half of May, slashing .308/.309/.519 with two homers, 11 RBI and seven runs over his last 13 games. He's making better contact this season as a whole, evidenced by his 10.8 strikeout rate, which is currently the fourth lowest in all of baseball among qualifying players.
