    • Juan Soto (forearm) not starting Sunday vs. LAD
Juan Soto (forearm) is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Dodgers.

Advice: As expected, Soto is not in the lineup as he’s day-to-day with a forearm injury. A trip to the injured list hasn’t been ruled out for the outfielder, but for now the Yankees are hopeful he can return to the New York lineup in the coming days. Trent Grisham is starting in center field and hitting fifth in Soto’s absence. Rotoworld Sunday, 12:11 pm

    • Feeling better, could hit Sunday
Manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that Soto (forearm) will "probably" take swings Sunday, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Boone said earlier Saturday that it would likely be a few more days before Soto would re-enter the Yankees' starting lineup. On top of being a candidate to hit Sunday, Soto went through a significant amount of his pregame prep Saturday, per Brendan Kuty of The Athletic, which is yet another encouraging sign for Soto after the injury scare Thursday. • Knocks in go-ahead runs
Chourio went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Tigers.

Advice: The 20-year-old delivered a clutch two-out double in the sixth to give his team the lead for good. With this performance, Chourio now has a pair of multi-hit efforts and five RBI over his last four games. The rookie has had his share of up and downs, but he continues to be given opportunities as he's appeared in 55 of the Brewers 64 games this season despite his .216/.257/.347 line. • Juan Soto remains out Saturday with forearm injury
Juan Soto (forearm) remains out of the lineup for Saturday’s highly-anticipated showdown against the Dodgers.

Advice: Soto will miss his second straight contest on Saturday evening after being held out of Friday’s series opener against Los Angeles due to left forearm inflammation. The positive news here for fantasy managers is that it sounds like the 25-year-old fantasy superstar isn’t facing an extended absence after additional testing didn’t reveal any ligament damage or other structural issues. However, it’s a tough development since this is shaping up to be one of the most exciting regular-season series of the year. He’s presumably day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Saturday, 12:42 pm

    • Boone: Soto ‘wasn’t an option’ Friday vs. Dodgers
Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters after Friday’s extra-innings loss to the Dodgers that Juan Soto (forearm) wasn’t available.

Advice: Soto left Thursday’s game with inflammation in his forearm, and there was some speculation that the outfielder could be available off the bench for Friday’s contest. Several possibilities passed where Soto could have entered, but Boone kept the outfielder on the bench. It’s possible that the slugger could return over the weekend, but the Yankees aren’t going to rush the superstar back. Rotoworld Friday, 7:44 pm

    • Swipes fifth bag
Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a stolen base Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Reynolds has enjoyed a productive stretch across his last 12 starts, collecting 14 hits across 52 at-bats. He's also tallied three home runs, 12 RBI and a stolen base in that span. Reynolds has hit second in every game this season and should remain a steady contributor across all five categories. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:29 pm

    • Jackson Chourio heads back to bench Monday
Despite homering Sunday, Jackson Chourio is out of the lineup for Monday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: Weird. This makes three times in the last five games that Chourio has been excluded from the lineup in favor of Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins. One would think the Brewers would want him playing everyday somewhere. The 20-year-old is hitting .214/.257/.345 with six homers in 180 plate appearances this season. Rotoworld Monday, 2:16 pm

    • Nolan Jones (back) starts rehab assignment
Nolan Jones (back, knee) began a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder went 0-for-2 with a walk and was hit by a pitch in the contest. He should only need a few games to get his timing back before becoming an option to rejoin the Rockies’ lineup. Prior to landing on the injured list, Jones had struggled to a .170/.243/.277 slash line through his first 26 games with only one home run, seven RBI and a pair of stolen bases. • Back in action
Jones (knee) began a new rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Jones originally landed on the injured list April 30 with a back issue, but he then injured his knee during his original rehab assignment. It's now the latter issue that is keeping him sidelined, though he played with Albuquerque on Sunday and went 0-for-2 with a walk while also being hit with a pitch and serving as the designated hitter.
