    • Fans nine Wednesday
Bradish tossed five innings, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out nine batters in a no-decision against Washington on Wednesday.

Advice: In his second start of the campaign, Bradish nudged his pitch count up a bit from 84 to 90 while completing five frames. The right-hander gave up just one run -- as he did in his first start of the season -- and racked up nine strikeouts but settled for a no-decision as both team's offenses were quiet until the latter portion of the contest. In terms of health, Bradish is still working his way back from the UCL sprain he was diagnosed with in mid-February, though he already appears to be in good form; through two starts, he's posted a 14:4 K:BB while giving up just two runs and eights hits across 9.2 innings. • Jordan Hicks strikes out five in win vs. Rockies
Jordan Hicks allowed three runs with five strikeouts over five innings in a win over the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: After a clean first inning, a triple and a wild pitch brought the first run in to score for the Rockies in the second. Hicks ran into more trouble in the fifth, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk. His day was done after five frames on 92 pitches. He struck out five. The 27-year-old right-hander has enjoyed an early breakout as a starter, posting a 2.30 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and a 35/16 K/BB ratio across 43 innings. Hicks will take on the Dodgers in San Francisco on Monday. Rotoworld Today, 8:30 pm

    • Peter Lambert hit for seven runs in loss to Giants
Peter Lambert allowed seven runs over three innings in a loss to the Giants on Wednesday.

Advice: Lambert’s outing lasted just three innings as he was hit for seven runs. Six of those runs came in the second, starting with a solo homer by Michael Conforto to lead off the frame. The Giants would bat around the order before Lambert could escape the inning. Two hits in the third would bring in a seventh run. Lambert ends the day with a 7.61 ERA, 1.69 WHIP, and a 20/9 K/BB ratio across 23 2/3 innings. He lines up for a start against the Padres in San Diego on Monday. Rotoworld Today, 8:29 pm

    • Another impressive outing
Stone (3-1) picked up the win Wednesday against Miami, allowing one run on six hits and no walks over seven innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Outside of a solo homer to Bryan De La Cruz in the fourth inning, Stone was exceptional, yielding one run for a third consecutive start. He's lasted at least six innings in three straight outings, dragging his ERA down to 3.55 through 38.0 frames. With Bobby Miller (shoulder) nearing the start of a rehab assignment, Stone could only have a couple more go-arounds in the Dodgers' rotation, with a date at San Francisco on tap for Tuesday. • Decent showing against LAD
Weathers (2-4) took the loss Wednesday, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk over six innings against the Dodgers. He struck out three.

Advice: Weathers submitted his second straight quality start; however, he was stuck with the loss as the Marlins could only muster up one run off Gavin Stone and the Dodgers' bullpen. He gave up a two-run home run in the sixth to Teoscar Hernandez, marking Weathers' fifth consecutive start allowing a long ball. The southpaw has been serviceable for Miami this season, having allowed more than three runs once in eight starts with a 1.32 WHIP. Rotowire.com Today, 8:11 pm

    • Allows one hit in seven frames
Cease (5-2) picked up the win Wednesday against the Cubs, allowing one hit and two walks over seven scoreless innings. He struck out 12.

Advice: Cease fell one K shy of his career high in strikeouts and only allowed four total baserunners -- an infield single, two walks and a hit-by-pitch -- en route to his fifth win of his last six starts. He's been making a case for the AL Cy Young in his first season with the Padres, earning a 2.19 ERA and a 0.75 WHIP with 60 strikeouts over 49.1 innings pitched. Cease will look to add to his already impressive 2024 resume in a projected home start Tuesday against the Rockies. Rotowire.com Today, 7:57 pm

    • Kyle Bradish fans nine in tough-luck no-decision
Kyle Bradish was outstanding in tough-luck no-decision against the Nationals on Wednesday night, racking up nine strikeouts over five stellar innings of one-run baseball.

Advice: The right-hander allowed just four hits and two walks on the night. The only run the Nationals were able to muster against him came on an RBI single by Trey Lipscomb in the second inning. Bradish got 12 swings and misses on 90 pitches on the night — five of those on his slider — while registering a CSW of 34 percent. He left the game with a 2-1 lead and in line for a victory, but the Orioles’ bullpen was unable to hang on for him. Bradish will tote an impressive 1.86 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and a 14/4 K/BB ratio (9 2/3 innings) into Tuesday’s showdown against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld Today, 7:41 pm

    • Mitchell Parker pitches well in no-decision vs O’s
Mitchell Parker pitched well in a no-decision against the Orioles on Wednesday night, allowing just two runs on five hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The 24-year-old hurler punched out three batters on the night while issuing one free pass. All of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Anthony Santander blasting a solo homer in the fourth inning and Gunnar Henderson adding a solo shot in the sixth. Parker got seven swings and misses on 77 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 26 percent. He’ll look to get back in the win column as he brings a 2.67 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 22/5 K/BB ratio (27 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the White Sox in Chicago. Rotoworld Today, 7:41 pm

    • Chris Paddack strikes out 10 in win over Mariners
Chris Paddack allowed one run with 10 strikeouts across 5 1/3 innings in a win over the Mariners on Wednesday.

Advice: Paddack put together another solid start on Wednesday against the Mariners. He worked through three scoreless frames before Mitch Garver took him deep for a solo homer in the fourth. Paddack got out of trouble with two baserunners in the fifth, and got one out in the sixth before his day was done. He struck out 10 batters for the second time this season, generating a whopping 19 whiffs. The 28-year-old right-hander will take a 4.34 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and a 37/8 K/BB ratio across 37 1/3 innings into a start against the Yankees in Minnesota on Tuesday. Rotoworld Today, 7:35 pm
