      Snell was removed from Sunday's contest against the Yankees in the fifth inning with an undisclosed injury, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Snell had tossed 4.2 innings of one-run ball while striking seven batters, but he was forced to exit with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning. The left-hander had already thrown 99 pitches in the contest, so he was likely facing his final batter of the game anyway. Reliever Erik Miller surrendered a two-run double to Alex Verdugo when he entered the contest, tacking on two more earned runs to Snell's line.     • Blake Snell exits start with injury on Sunday
      Blake Snell was removed from Sunday’s start against the Yankees in the fifth inning due to an apparent injury.

      Advice: It’s still unclear exactly what happened here, but with two outs in the fifth inning Snell received a visit from manager Bob Melvin, the pitching coach and the training staff — after which the decision was made to pull him from the game. To add insult to injury, Erik Miller came on and allowed a two-run single that plated a pair of Snell’s runners. Ultimately, he was charged with three runs on five hits and three walks over his 4 2/3 innings of work while striking out seven batters. Expect the Giants to provide an update on his status shortly.       Ketel Marte starred Sunday going 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double, two runs scored, three RBI, and a walk in a 5-4 win over the Mets.

      Advice: Marte started this game by taking José Quintana deep and ended it by homering off of Jake Diekman to put the Diamondbacks ahead.       Raisel Iglesias pitched a clean ninth inning on Sunday against the Athletics to earn the save.

      Advice: Poor command pushed Morton’s pitch count up in what was otherwise a fantastic outing. This was the sixth straight start in which Morton decreased the usage of his fastball and Sunday marked a season-low at 15%. In turn, he turned to more changeups which the Athletics couldn’t square up, but Morton also struggled to find the zone with it at times.       Advice: Arraez was thrown out at second base attempting to stretch a single into a double in the top half of the fifth inning. He remained in the game for another inning defensively, but was ultimately replaced by Tyler Wade when the Padres took the field in the sixth inning.       Bradish came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Rays, giving up five runs on seven hits and three walks over 2.2 innings. He struck out six.

      Advice: The right-hander wasn't at his sharpest, but he mostly got pecked to death as only one of the hits off him -- a triple by Yandy Diaz in the second inning -- went for extra bases. Bradish got more than enough run support to avoid his first loss of the season, however.       Yamamoto (6-2) allowed a run on seven hits and a walk while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win over the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: Yamamoto bounced back from a loss his last time out with a strong performance. He's earned quality starts in four of his last six outings, allowing 13 runs over 37 innings in that span. The rookie right-hander has a 3.32 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 76:14 K:BB over 65 innings across 12 starts this season.       Hader picked up a save against the Twins on Saturday, striking out one batter over a scoreless inning.

      Advice: It was a relatively easy save chance for Hader, as he entered with a three-run lead. The southpaw had worked in a non-save situation in each of his previous three appearances, though he's clearly still in control of Houston's closer role. Hader has had a few rough outings this season but is 8-for-9 in save chances and has allowed just three earned runs and struck out 33 batters over his past 19.1 innings.
