      Garcia went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Angels.

      Advice: The 24-year-old singled in the top of the third inning before coming around to score on a Vinnie Pasquantino home run. Garcia later added two doubles to give him his first three-hit performance of the season. The third baseman has now hit safely in four consecutive games and in six of eight to open the month of May, tallying four RBI and four runs scored over that latter stretch.       Tovar went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, an RBI and a run scored Thursday against the Giants.

      Advice: Tovar has been struggling to hit for power across the last few weeks, as he had only three extra-base hits (all doubles) across his last 21 starts entering Thursday's game. He managed to end that drought against the Giants, as he tallied both a double and a triple in the fourth inning when the Rockies batted around.       Maikel Garcia finished 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI against the Angels on Thursday.

      Advice: Garcia was due for some luck, and he got it tonight, as both of his doubles came on balls hit less than 80 mph. His highest EV in the contest, a 104-mph grounder, actually produced an out. The Royals have remained very patient with Garcia in the leadoff spot, and odds are that he’ll only get better from here.     • Three-hit game for Ezequiel Tovar against Giants
      Ezequiel Tovar picked up three hits and scored a run in a victory over the Giants on Thursday.

      Advice: Tovar singled twice and also doubled. The RBI came on that double in the fourth inning, and he’s up to eight two-baggers with 13 RBI over the first 36 games of 2024. Tovar still has work to be done, but at the age of 22, he’s got time to figure it all out. A .269/.314/.400 slash gives you an idea of what he’s capable of in the coming seasons.       Cronenworth went 2-for-4 with a run and a stolen base Monday in a 6-3 victory versus the Cubs.

      Advice: Cronenworth's first theft of the campaign came as part of a double steal with Fernando Tatis in the sixth inning, and both players subsequently came home on a Jurickson Profar single. Cronenworth doesn't typically offer much in terms of speed, though he did swipe a career-high six bags last season.     • Maikel Garcia drives in two in win against MIL
      Maikel Garcia went 1-for-2 with a two-run RBI single to help lift the Royals to a 3-2 win versus the Brewers on Monday.

      Advice: It wasn’t pretty, but it got the job done. Garcia got great contact on a sinker off Elvis Peguero in the sixth inning that got in between shortstop and second base. According to Statcast, the hit probability was just 41%, but with an exit velocity of 106.5 MPH, Garcia definitely earned the hit.       Lindor went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Rays.

      Advice: Lindor got the Mets on the board right away, clubbing a two-run shot off Ryan Pepiot as the third batter of the game. The long ball was Lindor's sixth of the season and marked his third time logging multiple RBI in his last four games.
