    • Gunnar Henderson homer helps O’s top D-Backs
Gunnar Henderson homered in a victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday in 11 innings.

Advice: Henderson hit a solo blast of Ryne Nelson in the fifth inning. That’s the 12th homer for the second-year shortstop, and he’s driven in 27 runs over the Orioles’ first 37 games of the year. Henderson has played at a star level for much of 2024, and there’s plenty of reason to believe there’ll be way more good than bad for the infielder for the rest of the season and beyond. • Goes yard again Friday
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-3 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Ramirez has gone 8-for-23 (.348) over his last six games, and half of his hits in that span have left the yard. He started the year slowly from a power standpoint, but the third baseman is up to nine homers, 33 RBI and a .471 slugging percentage through 38 contests thanks to his recent surge. He's still a little light for batting average (.245), but that's nothing to be concerned about while he's squaring up the ball well. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:26 pm

    • Continues power surge
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the White Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Cleveland was held scoreless until Ramirez belted a 409-foot solo shot in the eighth inning. The All-Star third baseman has gone deep three times over his past five games, pushing his total to eight homers on the season. He's slashing just .238/.282/.450 but ranks fifth in the majors with 31 RBI while adding 25 runs and five stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:02 am

    • José Ramírez goes deep in loss to White Sox
José Ramírez slugged a solo homer on Thursday in the Guardians’ loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Ramírez and Josh Naylor went deep off veteran reliever John Brebbia in the eighth inning, but it wasn’t enough to spark Cleveland to a late rally at Guaranteed Rate Field. It was his eighth round-tripper of the season and third time he’s left the yard in his last five contests. Rotoworld Thursday, 8:04 pm

    • Pops 11th homer
Henderson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored Wednesday in a 7-6 extra-innings win over Washington.

Advice: Henderson gave Baltimore its first lead with a solo shot in the sixth inning. That snapped a seven-game stretch without a long ball for the shortstop, which was his longest homerless span of the campaign. Henderson is tied for second in the majors with 11 home runs on the season, and he's added 25 RBI, 28 runs, six stolen bases and a .271/.344/.563 slash line through 36 games. • Posts three hits in win
Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 11-7 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Ramirez endured an 0-for-17 slump over a five-game stretch from April 30 to May 4, but he's bounced back by going 5-for-11 with two homers and five RBI over his last three contests. That slump has still left a mark -- the third baseman is slashing .245/.290/.448 on the year with seven homers, 30 RBI, five steals and 24 runs scored through 155 plate appearances. He's on track to get back over the 100-RBI mark after missing out in 2023. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:55 am

    • Ramirez has three-hit game in loss Tuesday
Jose Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in the loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.

Advice: Ramirez increased his average to .245 on the season. His .231 BABIP is well below his career .280 BABIP. Despite the low average so far for the career .278 hitter, Ramirez has still managed 24 runs, seven home runs and 30 RBI in 35 games this year. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:15 pm

    • Goes yard again
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Monday's 2-1 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Ramirez provided the go-ahead run in the sixth inning, tagging Jack Flaherty for a solo homer. Ramirez has now generated a home run in back-to-back games but is still trying to dig his way out of a slump. In his last 10 appearances, Ramirez is 5-for-35 (.143) with five RBI, five runs scored and no multi-hit games. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:17 pm

    • José Ramírez homers in second-straight game
José Ramírez went 1-for-4 with a home run in Monday’s 2-1 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Ramírez’s go-ahead home run came in the sixth inning as it hugged the right side of the diamond and hit the foul pole. It was a much-needed run for Cleveland who are now 23-12 through its first 35 games of the season — the team’s best start since 2011. The 31-year-old is slashing .232/.280/.435 with seven home runs and 28 RBI this season. Rotoworld Monday, 5:40 pm
