He's hitting .278 (15-for-54) over 18 games in May, picking up nine of his 18 steals on the year this month. The speedster has slashed .263/.319/.368 with two home runs, 16 RBI, 22 runs, eight doubles and a triple through 168 plate appearances.       José Caballero went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base in a loss to the Red Sox on Wednesday.

      Advice: The stolen base was Cabellero’s 18th of the season and tied him with Brice Turang for second-most in the league behind only Elly De La Cruz. Those steals alone have turned him into one of the best bargains from draft season so far and as the Rays’ roster crunch becomes more crowded, Caballero’s defense at shortstop is very likely to keep him on the field every day.       Advice: Swanson was activated from the 10-day injured list Monday night and he made his return to the lineup Tuesday after missing two weeks. The shortstop hit the ground running against his former team, though he's been off to a slow start overall with just a .218 batting average across 38 games.       Elly De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a win over the Padres on Tuesday.

      Advice: The double accounted for the only RBI of the game, but it wasn’t particularly well hit at just 86 mph off the bat. It was just one of those nights where neither offense seemed to get anything going.
