    • Remains out Saturday
Soto (forearm) isn't in the Yankees' lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Soto will miss a second consecutive game Saturday since making an early exit from Thursday's contest. Imaging on his left elbow came back negative Friday, so he doesn't seem to be battling a severe injury, and there's still a chance the slugging outfielder returns to the lineup for the series finale. In the meantime, Aaron Judge will shift to right field in Soto's place while Trent Grisham picks up another start in center. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

    • Adael Amador joins Rockies on taxi squad for now
MLB.com’s Thomas Harding reports Rockies top prospect Adael Amador has joined the club in St. Louis, but no decision has been made whether to officially recall him for his major-league debut.

Advice: Independent journalist Francys Romero reported earlier Saturday that Amador, who has homered six times over his last nine games for Double-A Hartford, was being called up for his debut. That’s on hold at least for the moment with Harding adding that the Rockies are waiting to determine whether Brendan Rodgers hamstring strain is severe enough to require a trip to the injured list. Amador has joined Colorado’s taxi squad, and it’s still possible he could be officially recalled in the coming days. However, for the moment, it doesn’t sound like his debut is imminent. We’ll have additional updates on the developing situation as it unfolds. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

    • Juan Soto remains out Saturday with forearm injury
Juan Soto (forearm) remains out of the lineup for Saturday’s highly-anticipated showdown against the Dodgers.

Advice: Soto will miss his second straight contest on Saturday evening after being held out of Friday’s series opener against Los Angeles due to left forearm inflammation. The positive news here for fantasy managers is that it sounds like the 25-year-old fantasy superstar isn’t facing an extended absence after additional testing didn’t reveal any ligament damage or other structural issues. However, it’s a tough development since this is shaping up to be one of the most exciting regular-season series of the year. He’s presumably day-to-day for now. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

    • Resting versus LHP
Yastrzemski isn't in the Giants' lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Left-handed starter Andrew Heaney will start on the hill for Texas, meaning the left-handed bat of Yastrzemski will stay put in the dugout to begin the game. While he rests, Michael Conforto, Heliot Ramos and Austin Slater will start across San Francisco's outfield. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago
    • Sitting versus southpaw
Wisely isn't in the Giants' lineup for Saturday's game against Texas.

Advice: With lefty Andrew Heaney set to toe the slab for the Rangers, the lefty-hitting Wisely will step out of the lineup. Tyler Fitzgerald will take over at shortstop, batting ninth. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago

    • Getting Saturday off
Bailey isn't in the Giants' lineup Saturday against the Rangers.

Advice: The switch-hitting Bailey only holds a .656 OPS against left-handed pitching this season, and he'll take a seat Saturday versus Andrew Heaney and the Rangers. Curt Casali will catch for Spencer Howard instead while batting eighth. Rotowire.com 39 minutes ago
    • Not starting Saturday
Suwinski isn't in the Pirates' lineup Saturday against Minnesota.

Advice: Suwinski has gone 3-for-13 with a homer and two RBI since returning to the majors Tuesday, and he'll now get a chance to rest versus Simeon Woods Richardson and the Twins. Michael Taylor will fill the void in center field and bat ninth. Rotowire.com 44 minutes ago

    • Slated for rehab stint next week
Drury (hamstring) has responded well to recent baseball activities and is likely to head out on a rehab assignment during the week of June 10, per MLB.com.

Advice: Drury hasn't played since injuring his left hamstring May 8, but he's recently progressed to running and participating in full baseball activities, including taking groundballs and hitting on the field. The veteran infielder hasn't had any setbacks while taking part in that work and thus appears just about ready to head out on a rehab stint. It's not clear how many minor-league games Drury will play in, but he could be back with the Angels by the end of next week. Rotowire.com 49 minutes ago

    • Sratched from lineup
France was scratched from the Mariners' lineup ahead of Saturday's game versus Kansas City due to an apparent foot injury, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Advice: The Mariners haven't offered any information regarding how serious France's injury is, but the team should offer an update on him once they take a closer look at him. Luke Raley will move to first base to replace France, shifting Dylan Moore to left field while Ryan Bliss covers second base. Rotowire.com 50 minutes ago
