Gray allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out three over three innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Gray was pitching on short rest after he made a relief appearance versus the Giants on Saturday, so it's not surprising this was a short outing for the veteran. He threw 36 of 65 pitches for strikes, and the lone run on his line was a Shohei Ohtani solo home run in the first inning. Gray is now at a 2.17 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 63:19 K:BB over 62.1 innings through 13 appearances (11 starts) this season. The right-hander should be getting back on a normal schedule moving forward, which puts him tentatively on track to make his next start in a favorable home matchup versus the Mets. Garrett (2-2) took the loss against the Mets on Wednesday, allowing six runs (four earned) on seven hits and no walks while striking out four batters over 4.2 innings.

Advice: Garrett was tagged by Harrison Bader for a two-run homer in the first inning, and he gave up three more runs in the second. The left-hander settled down a bit from there, but he was pulled with two outs in the fifth inning after serving up a solo shot to Starling Marte. It was the second straight start during which Garrett was unable to complete five frames -- he went just 2.2 innings versus Tampa Bay in his previous appearance. Garrett was great in back-to-back starts May 24 and 29, allowing just one run over 14 frames. Lodolo (7-2) earned the win against the Guardians on Wednesday, allowing two runs on seven hits and three walks with six strikeouts over six innings.

Advice: After retiring the first three batters he faced, Lodolo had traffic on the bases all night but limited the damage to just two runs. Lodolo even hit two batters, but he was able to battle for his fourth consecutive win and third straight quality start. Despite two stints on the injured list, Lodolo has had a huge bounceback season and now owns a 2.93 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 62:15 K:BB through 10 starts. Nick Lodolo picked up his seventh victory of the season on Wednesday, limiting the Guardians to just two runs on seven hits over his six innings of work.

Advice: The 26-year-old southpaw struck out six batters on the evening while issuing three free passes. Lodolo walked David Fry with the bases loaded in the third inning to force in a run, then they scratched out a second run as Andres Gimenez bounced into a fielder’s choice in the fifth inning. Lodolo got 13 swings and misses on 102 pitches in the ballgame, registering a CSW of 23 percent. Now 7-2 on the season, he’ll look to keep the good times rolling as he brings a 2.93 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and a 62/15 K/BB ratio (58 1/3 innings) into Tuesday’s showdown against the Pirates in Pittsburgh. He's evidently bounced back fine from that appearance and will pitch on short rest versus the Dodgers.
