    • David Hamilton exits game with side discomfort
David Hamilton departed Monday’s game due to left side discomfort.

Advice: That’s not usually good, but there’s the chance it might be minor. If Hamilton is forced to the IL, perhaps the Red Sox would take a look at Chase Meidroth at shortstop. The other option would be to just bring back Jamie Westbrook, who was sent down today. In that case, Romy Gonzalez and maybe Ceddanne Rafaela would play short. Rotoworld Monday, 5:38 pm
    • Exits early versus Toronto
Hamilton (undisclosed) was removed from Monday's contest with the Blue Jays in the bottom of the fourth inning, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Hamilton struck out swinging in the top of the fourth inning, exiting the game prior to taking the field in the bottom of the frame. The 26-year-old will finish his day 0-for-2 with two punchouts and an update on his status will likely be provided before the conclusion of Monday's contest. In the meantime, Romy Gonzalez shifted over to shortstop while Enmanuel Valdez entered the lineup at second base. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:29 pm
    • David Hamilton leaves game in fourth inning
David Hamilton left Monday’s game in the fourth inning with an undisclosed injury.

Advice: Enmanuel Valdez replaced him, with Romy Gonzalez moving from second to short. It’d be awful timing for Hamilton to suffer a significant injury, especially after he was just picked up in every league in which he was available. Rotoworld Monday, 5:25 pm
    • Back from injured list
The Phillies activated Turner (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start at shortstop and bat second in his return to the lineup for Monday's series opener versus the Padres.

Advice: Turner rejoins the first-place Phillies following a six-week absence with a strained left hamstring. He didn't go out on a rehab assignment prior to being activated, so it's possible Turner will get some extra off days mixed in as he returns to action. Edmundo Sosa performed well as Turner's main replacement at shortstop and will most likely return to a bench role, though the Phillies have discussed the possibility of getting Sosa some reps in the outfield. • Trea Turner officially back from the IL
Phillies activated SS Trea Turner from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: The move was reported on Sunday and is now official. Turner didn’t make any rehab appearances but should be slotted back into lineups to make use of his full week of production. He may not steal as many bases right away in the aftermath of the hamstring injury, but hopefully that speed production will tick back up in the weeks ahead. Johan Rojas was sent to the minors in a corresponding move. Rotoworld Monday, 11:58 am

    • May require rehab assignment
Tucker (lower leg) may require a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Manager Joe Espada relayed that Tucker is feeling better, including doing some work in the weight room. However, Espada also added that if Tucker isn't able to begin running within the next few days he will require a rehab assignment before being activated. If that were the case, his return may not come until late June. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:25 am

    • Delivers two runs in win
Pederson went 1-for-2 with two walks, a double, two RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 12-5 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Pederson got the rout started with a two-run double in the first inning, extending an RBI streak to four games. The month of June had been a quiet one for the DH (.419 OPS in nine games) prior to this recent stretch in which he's been involved in several rallies. Pederson has three walks, a double, two home runs, 10 RBI and seven runs scored over the last four games. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:21 am
    • Goes deep Sunday
Rutschman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Rutschman entered Sunday just 1-for-17 over his last five games, an unusual slump for the catcher. He took Zack Wheeler deep in the third inning to extend the Orioles' lead to 4-0, and that was ultimately all they needed in the win. Rutschman is up to a .289/.333/.473 slash line with 14 homers, 53 RBI, 36 runs scored, one stolen base and nine doubles through 67 contests. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:46 pm
    • Clubs homer in win
Henderson went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Henderson worked a nine-pitch at-bat to lead off the first inning, and it ended with him taking Zack Wheeler deep. It was Henderson's lone hit in the game, but it was enough to extend his hitting streak to 10 contests, a span in which he's gone 14-for-43 (.326) with three long balls. The star shortstop is up to 22 homers, 49 RBI, 56 runs scored, nine stolen bases and a .274/.370/.588 slash line through 70 games in his breakout campaign. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:44 pm
