Mitchell Parker pitches well in no-decision vs O’s
Mitchell Parker pitched well in a no-decision against the Orioles on Wednesday night, allowing just two runs on five hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.
Advice: The 24-year-old hurler punched out three batters on the night while issuing one free pass. All of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Anthony Santander blasting a solo homer in the fourth inning and Gunnar Henderson adding a solo shot in the sixth. Parker got seven swings and misses on 77 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 26 percent. He’ll look to get back in the win column as he brings a 2.67 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 22/5 K/BB ratio (27 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the White Sox in Chicago.
